Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: This site was easy to navigate on arrival, good sized pitch, spotlessly clean every where, staff were friendly and helpful.
My 7 yr old loved the mini football pitch and played for hours every day with loads of kids.
Disliked: Little bit of road noise but once in the van and bedded down it wasn’t a problem. There doesn’t seem to be much within easy walking distance if you have young kids.

Liked: The facilities although only temporary due to a refurbishment are s good as any permanent’s I’ve experienced.
Showers great with plenty of piping hot water and the facilities were spotless.
Security barrier great for peace of mind.
Very peaceful site well kept grounds.
Value for money with the facilities.
Slept like a baby 😊
Given pitch and site layout plan in chance of the stay and the site rules which was very handy.
Only a short walk to local one stop shop which is five minutes away. Plenty of supplies in there for your stay. Didn’t venture anywhere else as I arrived a bit late.
Wi-fi was up and down for me, may have been my pitch I don’t know, but I don’t book for that so never bothers me anyway. A note for those who can’t love without it lol.
Will be happy to return though and explore Southport.
Disliked: Nothing, lovely site.

Liked: Nice location and a short walk from a lovely country pub. There is a nice enclosed dog walk with grass, path and plenty of poo bins. We only stayed for one night but would recommend and also go there again.

Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Peaceful, showers/ toilets very clean, site is being modernised, new toilet and shower blocks, new shop, reception which looks like it will improve the site greatfully.i would stay here again, as it was very quiet during the week we stayed.
Disliked: No privacy between pitches, only electric, so no fully serviced pitches, which I hope reflects the price and they do not increase dramatically after all the renovations.plenty of noise from the airfield during the day, but this did not bother us, but worth mentioning.
