What customers say
This is a well-maintained and clean campsite with friendly, helpful staff. Pitches are spacious and many guests enjoyed the on-site cafe and bar. Facilities, including showers and toilets, are consistently praised for their cleanliness. The location is considered excellent for visiting Blackpool and surrounding areas. Some minor issues were noted regarding WiFi connectivity and road noise, and a few guests felt that certain facilities, such as the water park, were not available or accessible.

Nothing…
Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Nothing
Disliked Terrible noisy camper van/ caravan pitch way too close to motorway, traffic noise at night kept us awake, too far from local pub unless you drive, pretty dangerous road to walk, quite a way out from Blackpool, £10-15 Uber ride.
WiFi is almost non existent dips in and out, very uneven pitches with slopes, water logged pitches (pitch 7) and very small gravel beds too small for a camper van, electrical connections are way too far from the pitches.
Toilet block is too small with only 2 showers, cafe closed out of season, to top it all they charged me £100 to pull the camper van off their short waterlogged pitch which took all of 20 mins including collecting their vehicle, £300 an hour vs min wage!!!!
Apparently it’s all my fault because I parked on the grass, but the van wouldn’t fit on the small gravel beds too and the electrics were miles back off the pitch. Very Customer friendly, definitely won’t be back here !!!

Overall an OK site but not one we would choose to go back to.
Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Site very clean. Well organised.
Disliked Cafe seasonal, so was closed for our visit. Local pub not safe to walk to, so ended up getting taxi into Blackpool. Despite there being quite a few empty pitches, we were put on pitch 24&25 and the pitches were very un-level (if that’s a word).
Not permitted to use blow heaters in awnings etc in winter. This isn’t in the t’s an c’s and in winter, not being able to use that made it very cold.

Liked I liked that the staff were friendly and flexible. I had booked the wrong night, but they still accommodated me. I felt safe there on my own. The toilet disposal point was easy to use and on the way out. The campsite is near Blackpool. Easy-ish to find with a phone call. Free wi-fi was excellent. The water tap next to the pitch is handy.
Disliked I needed to phone as it wasn't signposted from the road. A bit noisy next to the road, but that's unavoidable. I was curious about a path next to pitch six, but it was flooded near the arch.

Very disappointing customer service let down functional site.
Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Good access, clean site, goodish location for Blackpool, reasonably priced, toilet facilities were good.
Disliked Poor experience, might have been unfortunate I'm not sure.
Called a day ahead to check availability of calor gas, told plenty available in type and size... Only to be told on arrival that reception had made a mistake and there was none so left without gas for 3 days.
At end of stay discovered brand new tyre was punctured by screw. The tyres were fine when van pulled into reception initially, seem to have picked it up on site (it happens 🤷) but when I informed reception I had a flat, there was no effort to advise about a local repair/recovery or offer to help. Instead there seemed to be annoyance that I would not be off my pitch by 11.
The WIFI was poor as well and struggled to connect. The shower block was not big enough for the size of the site with only 2 toilets and 2 showers.
Having stayed on sites where reception cannot do enough to make your stay a pleasant one, the staff here really don't seem to make the effort to go the extra mile.
