What customers say

This is a small, quiet, and peaceful campsite on a working farm, praised for its clean and warm facilities, including showers and toilets. Many reviewers highlight the spacious, level pitches, often with the convenience of water and electric hook-ups. Its location is considered excellent for exploring Lancashire, with easy access to Blackpool. Communication from owners is frequently noted as helpful. Minor criticisms include the unisex facilities and occasional long grass or gravel issues. Overall, a highly recommended site that visitors intend to revisit.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked The facilities provided, the easy access the to site.
Opted for the site as wanted to be close but far from Blackpool, and was perfect for what we needed. Would highly recommend.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked What a lovely campsite. Quiet (except for the wonderful sounds of wildlife - cows, sheep and birds to wake you up in the morning!) peaceful, clean and tidy. There were lots of small planes flying overhead throughout the day which our children loved. The toilet and shower facilities were nice and clean, there are only 13 pitches so there is lots of space to play and the toilets/showers were never busy. The washing up facilities are great, there are 2 sinks with hot water to wash up. We were within 30 mins drive of 3 beaches (Fleetwood, Morecambe, Blackpool) and there are shops/pubs close to the campsite for food. We had a fire pit every night (we paid extra each day for the wood) and the owner was always happy to help. The WiFi was great, most of us didn't want to use our phones but it was helpful for those who did. Would definitely stay again!

Disliked The only thing we disliked is nothing to do with the farm or campsite. One camping neighbour on the fifth night smoked weed continuously one evening which just stank, it was our last night so we were a bit disappointed.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked The quiet site
The level pitches (we were hard standing electric)
The security
The cleanliness of the facilities

Disliked The showers - would benefit from having a seat/shelf to put things on.
The logs provided which were too big to burn effectively and we had to cut them down

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked A great little site. I liked how small the site was with not too many pitches. Pitch sizes was good so you wasn’t on top of other tents. Lots of space to play games and kids to run around. The toilet and showers were always kept clean, it didn’t bother us that they were unisex either. Ideal location to catch a bus into Blackpool, not too far of a drive to Fleetwood either. A lovely friendly pub just 15mins walk from the site too. I do have one suggestion it’s not a negative just if your washing up you may want a step if you are a little short in the height department as the sinks are very deep and I struggled to wash up, least it got me out of doing it again. A great and friendly site we will definitely book again.
