Pointer Farm Campsite

A aimé Lovely clean campsite.
The toilets and showers were clean and smelt clean.
Responsive owners when I gave feedback via text message whilst there.

N'a pas aimé The WiFi signal needs to be stronger. When connected to the WiFi it was really slow and didn’t always work. Ended up using my own data.
I would suggest anti slip mats when getting out of the showers. Also provide a mop and bucket so guests could wipe the floors after a shower.

A aimé The space was quiet and well kept. The bathrooms were well cleaned and handled. I liked the security of the coded barrier.

N'a pas aimé The only issue I had was with other campers not respecting the cleanliness of the bathrooms. No issue with the campsite itself.

A aimé We loved this campsite. It was so peaceful and the showers were lovely and warm!

A aimé We had a lovely stay and the staff we met were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The toilets and showers were very clean and from what we could see they were cleaned very regular (we saw cleaners in there at least 3 times a day).
We couldn't fault the site at all and will definitely be returning

A aimé Lovely campsite for a relaxing holiday. Not to many people on site and a large area for the kids to play. Some great facilities with toilets and showers etc. If staying with children take plenty to keep them entertained as stated there is just a field and nothing else for them onsite which wasn't a problem for us as we took games etc and they also joined up with others staying on site too to play games. Definitely book a fire pit as we had a great time roasting marshmallows and sitting round it in the evening on the cooler nights. The cows do like to wake you up in the morning but other than that it was quite peaceful. Within walking distance there is pub, a small shop which has a good supply of any basics or food needs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful in pointing out local things to do when we had rainy days. There is also a bus stop for day trips out in Blackpool or the local area if you don't want to drive. We would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

N'a pas aimé There was no dislike of the campsite as it was just as advertised and a lovely place to visit. Just something to make the stay easier, I would recommend taking heavy duty hard ground pegs for pitching your tent as we found the ground to be quite rocky in pitch 12 and would have struggled with normal tent pegs.
One recommendation, It would have been good to have access to a floor squeegee/mop to clean the shower floors between use in the daytime as we did find that sometimes it was very wet ( and muddy as we had some rain) in the changing area of the shower cubicles so would of been great to dry that before using but again this was not a major problem as every morning the facilities were clean and spotless.

A aimé Toilet / shower facilities were cleaned regularly and the showers were hot which I was worried about. Spacious pitches and it’s clear it’s a fairly new campsite.
Great Pub is a 10 min walk away. Blackpool was 45 mins on a bus and lots of little seaside villages around.

N'a pas aimé Really wish this site had a park for the kids…. Although they entertained themselves when on site it would benefit for a change of scenery than the same field. Not really a dislike just would be a customer recommendation

A aimé We had a beautiful weekend staying in the glamping pod. It was lovely, cosy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it. We’ll be back again! 🌿✨

A aimé We like about the Campite that it was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and lovely. Spaces In-between the tent on the next pitch.

N'a pas aimé Shelf in cubicles to put your essentials on, Freezer to put ice packs in, more car parking spaces, uneven path.
