From the manager: Hi,
Thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay. I am very sorry about the showers, I was not made aware there was an issue with them until seeing your review, the plumber was only here this time last week giving the boiler a service, so I'm shocked to hear this. Really disappointed you had that experience, as usually our showers are running lovely and hot. I hope it won't put you off visiting us again. Many thanks Molly

Liked Location is perfect for a peaceful getaway, huge field with plenty of space to choose from. Loved the washing up trailer, compostable toilets and trollers to transport gear onto the field. no hot water in the shower during our stay but only one night so a quick cold one wasn’t an issue.
Great stables tour with Jack who gave us lots of info re the amazing work at the BTRC… keep up the good work. Will defo come back soon to this lovely site!

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Beautiful location, peaceful with stunning views. Don't be put off by composting toilets. They were clean and only smelled of pine wood chips! Warm showers, too.
Disliked Bins and recycling would have been nice, and maybe a dressing shelter near the showers.
We were lucky with the weather.

From the manager: Hi Helen,
Thank you for your kind words, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I am not sure if you maybe missed the bins and recycling point as we have 2 recycling bins and 2 general waste bins just down from the washing up station, it has bamboo cane around the bins are to make sure it isn't too much of an eye sore. Thanks for the recommendation of a dressing shelter, maybe something we can look to put in place in the future. Thanks Whinney Hill Farm
