The Paddock is conveniently located in Ramsbottom, only a 15-minute walk from its shops and restaurants. The newsagent is only 5 minutes away.

This family-friendly campsite has a modern facilities block with toilets and free hot showers. There are also two portaloos and a washing-up area.

The owners encourage barbecues, provided you keep them off the ground, and guests can gather around the campfire, so please, remember to bring the marshmallows.

Pets are also welcome.

Directions


Please head towards the Duckworth Arms Pub on the A56. Directly opposite the pub you will see a turning at the end of a stone wall, this is the lane that will take you down to the site. Make sure you take a right turn over the motorway bridge and then follow the lane down to the bottom. The site is situated on the corner.

Local attractions

The campsite enjoys great countryside settings. It is excellent for bike riders and provides easy access to the moors via small country lanes and bridleways. Ramblers have plenty of choice, so long they don't mind a hill or two.

A 10-minute walk will take you to two pubs, and with five more minutes, you can reach the centre of Ramsbottom, with its restaurants and bars.

The great East Lancashire Railway is just on the doorstep. Take a trip on the train and head into Rawtenstall or go the other way into Bury and explore.

Admission
Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures
Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.

Extras
Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General
Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Hired accommodation
Your unit must be left clean and tidy, a fine of £30 will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Occupancy
No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Pitches
Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Safety
Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Taxes
This area is not subject to city tax.

Vehicles
No vehicle movement between 9pm and 8am.
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
