Well run site in a good location for the northern lakes.
Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch
Liked Clean, level pitch with all services. Location good, but if you want to eat out locally you are strongly advised to book ahead.
Well stocked shop and nice coffee shop. All facilities spotlessly clean.
Disliked Non-existent wi-fi, poor tv signal.

From the manager: Thanks for sharing your experience!
It’s great to hear the pitch was clean and well-equipped, and that the shop and coffee spot added a nice touch. Spotlessly clean facilities are always a big plus, and the heads-up about booking local restaurants is super helpful for future visitors.
The lack of Wi-Fi and poor TV signal is definitely a downside—especially if you're hoping to stay connected or unwind in the evenings. As we are in the country side it can be hard to get the perfect reception be we hope this didn't affect your stay to much.
Appreciate the balanced review!

Wonderful place in a great position. loads to do around the area.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely site with lots of pitches. The staff were dead friendly and once checked in it felt like it was ours to enjoy. They even pulled me out when we got stuck in the mud. The facilities were spotless and there was a air of peace and quiet. We left two days early due to the forecast, but that was with a heavy heart. We will go back there when we can. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay a brilliant one.

Great campsite in excellent location
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked We had a great time staying here over the weekend. We arrived after 5pm but had no difficulty in accessing the site and received a welcome pack online so we could find our pitch.
Facilities were always clean and stocked up with things like toilet roll. Having access to the chippy, shop and bar was also a big bonus! The campsite was easy to find and in a great location - 10 minutes to Pooley bridge and Aira force in the car, giving us plenty of places to explore and enjoy.
We would definitely stay here again.
