Excellent pitch, generous size & flat. Lovely staff. Nice facilities
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked We liked the departure time of 12 o'clock, makes life so much easier not rushing. Although, we did pack away the night before because we were very unsure of the weather and so were away at 9.45 ! We had a great pitch, 20. Nice and flat and a generous size for our awning and dog fence. We didn't realise until we'd set up that we should have been on pitch 21 but we'd gone the other side in error. Still, no one bothered us about this as there was plenty of room on the site :-) Lovely coffee/food shop on site (just a little more training needed on making a Cappuccino. Too much milk so was a Latte !) Irritating when you want to taste the coffee and not the milk ? I am biased being a Barista :-) Wifi was amazing. Loved the walking around. Miles of nice flat walking along the promenade. If the tide is out the beaches were great for the dog. Suitable for everyone as plenty of sitting down spots along the way. Really fab for bikes too. The town is small and if i'm honest a little tired but there are a few shops and pubs. We called in The Nelson, sat in lovely beer garden for 2 well deserved pints in the sunshine. A very nice guy served us :-) We will definitley be back and highly recommend.
Disliked Nothing to be honest (apart from my coffee :-) ! ) Facilities were all good, nice and clean . Staff were nice and friendly & pitches good sizes and flat. I suppose if I was to moan about anything it would only be the check in time of 1 o'clock. 12 would be much better. Half of your 1st day has almost gone by 1pm.

Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Proximity to town centre. Picturesque. Good dog walking area.
Disliked Toilet block. People constantly trying to open the door, when it's occupied.
Stones used for vehicle access unsuitable for dogs and elderly people. Vehicle's driving to fast and disturbing the tranquility of the site.

Absolutely Rubbish,
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Absolutely Nothing
Disliked Very poorly kept, dog mess on pitch, never checked before arrival, out of 3 days only 1 shower working on two of them day's. The pictures don't live up to the site. Sadly no money spent on the site and Maryport itself. WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY. Cut short my stay and left early, that's how bad it was. If management read this, their explanation was couple of staff off ill, not a excuse in my eyes. Would appreciate a part refund, without excuses, as you should have my bank details. PS had to clean up dog mess ourselves, but still stank after.
