Liked This site had everything we needed. Showers were incredible!! We got to watch 2 rugby games and its right near everything we were there for! Plus Morrisons, Aldi, B&M and Gregg's right down the road too. And only 20 mins walk into town.
Disliked Could have done with an itinerary as to what was going on within the club house, to be able to prepare ourselves, I.e. shower before the matches started as you have to use the changing room showers.

Liked Facilities were clean and accessible. Nice and quiet site, very child friendly. Staff were lovely. Kids play area was well maintained.
Disliked Very tiny little thing, some idea of which bins are for which type of litter would be handy to aid recycling. WiFi not consistently accessible at pitch but excellent closer to the main building.

Liked Spacious flat pitches. 15min walk to Kendal. Plenty of room for kids to play. Convenient for lakes....20mins away.
Disliked Unusual toilets and showers ...rugby team rooms. Variable water temperature...cold in washing up area, sometimes too hot in showers. No soap but they were clean.

Liked So relaxing just turned up pick your pitch, you also have use of the Rugby Club facilities toilet/Showers Etc. Morrisons and Sainsbury's just around the corner. Great Place.

The staff on reception on arrival…

Liked The staff on reception on arrival were lovely and friendly. The site was close to Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Halfords etc
Disliked Cars are allowed next to tents despite it stating otherwise which meant cars are driving past your tent all hours of the day. Tents over filling the spaces stated here, noisy environments, opposite an industrial estate so lots of loud noise traveling over. During our stay there was men on their own using family bathroom and showers. loud music coming from the gym in the evening. It was actively being used for daily football and rugby practice. Rugby practice in the evening on the field you camp on. This includes training and running next to tents. Showers are like swimming showers so you have to constantly push the button to have a shower. no security that we seen during our stay like told. no enforcement on quiet and woken up by other campers as well as cars driving on the field directly next to our tent. Loud congregation in the evenings including in the carparks. WiFi didn’t connect to the field. At the end of the stay it was smelling like sewage on the field, Birds were nesting in the hut and were swooping when you walked past. It isn’t a rugby club that isn’t being used. It is actively being used for clubs and events.
