Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Excellent site, run by a lovely couple who have an adorable dog who greeted you at the gate.
Remote, quiet and eco friendly, perfect for those looking for a calm, relaxed and quieter campsite.
Lots of lovely touches such as eco friendly toiletries in the showers.
Easily accessible, nice size campsite surrounds by fields and farm animals (they had sheep, horses, a pig and cows in the distance).

The Blue Door shepherd's hut
Liked The accommodation was amazing.
The bedding some of the most comfortable i have ever slept with.
The big fluffy towels provided.
The kitchen equipment covered everything needed.
Logs being available to purchase online and a firepit was great.
Watching the sheep and the farmers do their thing was so cool, the sound of the sheep became a welcome chorus.
The homemade cookies where the most amazing extra, so tasty.
The compost toilet was clean and comfortable and only a few steps away.
The showers were warm and simple to use.
Disliked Nothing to dislike at all we had an amazing time, the only thing we would have added was a fan as it was so warm and sunny but we couldn't leave the door or window open because of the flies.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you so much for the lovely feedback - great idea about the fan, we aren't used to the warm weather in Cumbria hahaha!
