Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch
Liked I was staying behind the pub in my motorhome, and honestly, I was a bit worried it might be noisy. But to my surprise, it was incredibly peaceful and quiet—perfect for a relaxing stay. The pub is great for families and pets, with plenty of land outside where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air.
I was in the area about 5 miles from Ambleside, where I was taking part in an event, and I’d definitely choose to stay here again when I’m back in this part of the world.
A big thank you to the lovely staff who kindly lent me a spanner when I realized I’d left mine at home—really appreciated their help and kindness.

Welcome of pub staff
Disliked The toilet (one) and two showers shared with a single wash up sink - this seems poorly planned, and a bit unhygienic if you’re washing crockery next door to a loo!
