Sito lodato per la tranquillità, piazzole spaziose con allaccio elettrico e accesso a sentieri. Pub annesso apprezzato per atmosfera amichevole, personale cordiale e buon cibo. Nuovi bagni puliti e ben tenuti. Ottima base per esplorare i dintorni. Alcuni problemi con assegnazione piazzole e servizi limitati se affollato, un gallo rumoroso. La direzione sta risolvendo.

Non mi è piaciuto Water pressure in the shower was poor ,,but lovely new toilet block ,,my main dislike was the very basic chemical toilets waste,, basically a pipe sticking out of the ground

Mi è piaciuto The country air and the stunning views. Ate in the pub on Saturday night and the food was tasty. Reasonabley priced and friendly staff. Had a nice buzz

Mi è piaciuto Great weekend, very well organised, well spaced pitches and very nice seating area to relax and have drinks , they provide a takeaway service for food and give you a hand held bleeper to let you know when it is ready for collection , excellent service , will definitely stay here again , five mins drive into Coniston , the facilities where very clean and the shower area looked brand new.

Mix up with our dinner reservation however the staff accommodated us, great food.
Brand new shower/toilet facilities were an added bonus.
My highlight … the cockerel alarm clock 😄

Mi è piaciuto A great place to stay over in a MH. The pub serves good quality food and drinks. The staff are friendly and helpful. Spacious gravel pitches look out over the beer garden to the hills beyond. A comfortable walk, with many route options down into Coniston. Very quiet overnight.
Non mi è piaciuto Not so much dislikes, just observations at the time of our visit. The site is still under development with ground works taking place adjacent to the pitches. However, they stopped on the Friday afternoon we were there and no works were done over the weekend. This probably explains the relatively low cost of pitches. The unisex toilet block/dish-wash layout does not work well. It may be like this as a temporary measure until works progress. However, it was spotlessly clean, and a quick improvement may be to put a lock on the main door in. Access is tight for larger MH's, but we had no problem at 7.5m. At busy times it could well take a little patience to get in/out of the car park. It is clear to see that the owners are putting a great deal of effort into making this a top class facility.
