Mi è piaciuto The area was nice and the pub was nice the food was good but overpriced.

Non mi è piaciuto Car park too crowded, pitches too close to each other.
I slipped on the floor and not one of the staff working asked if I was ok, another member of public helped.

Mi è piaciuto The pub was nice, the staff were friendly. We parked our van for two nights. A bit of confusion as we arrived Sunday lunchtime and the pub was busy. Would recommend that you book a table beforehand if turning up on a Sunday.

Mi è piaciuto The facilities I.e the toilet block were spotless.

Non mi è piaciuto Check in was very non interested by the staff and the food and service was the same. Didn’t feel like the staff wanted us (and others) there and felt like a hindrance. They were cleaning up and washing the floors around us, and very much made everyone feel like they just wanted us out despite being there 2 hours before closing. Even after I explained how they had made us feel even that was met with a very uninterested response. It was a special weekend and the whole experience left us very flat. The staff were rude and made the people in there seem like a burden!

Non mi è piaciuto Pitches all full with cars and campervan. We had to park outside of normal pitches as there was no room. Poor view onto a pile of gravel!

Mi è piaciuto Loved this little stop over, great views, good sized grass area behind for dogs and children to run about and food was good at the pub too.

Non mi è piaciuto Some pub visitors parked in the hook up area making it difficult to park up when we arrived.

Mi è piaciuto Pitches were great ground were great toilets and shower blocks were clean and tidy.pub was nice didn’t eat food but looked great

Non mi è piaciuto Was advised as having WiFi but couldn’t get WiFi.asked at the bar and was told should have it or can connect to one of the huts but wasn’t coming up in range or showing any of the huts so don’t have WiFi for the stay

Mi è piaciuto The pub itself was nice, food was good apart from one night, and staff generally friendly. The pitches were clean, as was the toilet and showers.

On Thursday, the barman had around 45 people in to single handedly serve and clear up after. He was a machine and managed it all.

Non mi è piaciuto The pitch space was cramped and, although we got into our pitch as we arrived on a Thursday, the people arriving on Friday and especially Saturday had a job to fit in. It was also right next to the pub car park so a bit noisy at closing time.

We didn't know about the toilet and showers until Saturday as the person who booked us in just had us fill the form and tell us to help ourselves as he was too busy to show us anything.

Non mi è piaciuto There was work going on renewing the main water pipe but I suppose they have to do it at some point so it wasn’t that much of a problem
Food at the pub delicious and deli had what we needed

Mi è piaciuto The pub staff, the beer, the food. Actually staff were amazing, so efficient, a really well oiled team. There was a new toilet block which was kept sparklingly clean.

Non mi è piaciuto Ignorant customers who walked over Pitches No 1 and No 2 to gain access to the Beer Garden, kicked over my beer, allowed their dogs to defecate on a ribbon of grass by Pitch 1. I did raise my issues before leaving and a staff member said 1 &2 were only used when the site was busy. Pitches definitely need to be roped off to stop " quick access" to Beer Garden

Mi è piaciuto Really great set up with good facilities for Motorhomes together with shepherds huts and pods. Food in the bar was SUPERB!

Non mi è piaciuto The roosters!!! Oh my these really have to go. The most important thing is just to get a good nights sleep. Constantly crowing through the night, there seemed to be a pair of roosters having a sing off. No sleep for 2 nights!
