What customers say
This is a peaceful, quiet site with beautiful rural scenery, praised for its clean facilities, including hot showers and well-maintained pitches with water and electric hook-ups. It's noted as a great location for walks and visiting local pubs. While generally well-regarded, some guests found the facilities basic, the site a little tired, and the touring pitches small, with occasional issues regarding lighting in the toilet block and shower capacity.

Perfect little spot
Electric gravel and earth touring pitch
Liked Lovely campsite, very quiet with great views. Kids had plenty of space to play. Great communication from the owner. Will definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay, many thanks. *****
Electric gravel and earth touring pitch
Liked A small site in a pretty, quiet, rural setting, I think about 6 generous tourer pitches and some static caravans. All have EHU and a tap. Fabulous tall pine trees. A lovely relaxed ambience. Wash facilities had hot continuous showers and there was hot water for dish-washing too. Everything clean and tidy. We would definitely stay here again and would have stayed longer had we not already booked elsewhere for the next night.
Disliked Nothing.

Very nice site.
Electric gravel and earth touring pitch
Liked Very nice quiet site. Level ish pitches. Clean toilets and hot showers.
Disliked Could do with more than one shower. Always handy to have more hooks in the toilet block too. No lights in the toilet cubicles.

To be avoided. I am reviewing as "anonymous" as a act of prudence.
Electric gravel and earth touring pitch
Liked Not much going for this campsite. Best to steer clear if this one.
Disliked No manager or caretaker. Plenty of noise from farm machinery and cattle. Even worse...no control over noisy neighbours.
Infested with flies....I kid you not. Flies galore and they were horrible and unrelenting. No view. Lousy facilities.
I made a mistake booking this one. We got fed up and left early ....losing two nights for which we had paid.
This is a campsite to avoid. I am telling you exactly what we experienced. There was no one to complain to....and in any case what would they would do about the flies, tractors and cattle? Poor facilities.

Quiet and uncrowded. County location. Facilities requires upgrading.
Electric gravel and earth touring pitch
Liked Quiet location in the countryside , 1.5 miles away from the picturesque village of Cumwhitton. There’s a great inn there that serves lovely food.
Value for money. Not many pitches so not crowded. Facilities ie EUP and water near at hand.
Disliked Never saw the owner during our stay.
Very basic toilet block. One shower!
The toilet block and shower facilities require a total upgrade. Wooden structure with plastic corrugated roofing.
Flooring has different surfaces which had been painted over.

Not bad , dated and not for us.
Electric gravel and earth touring pitch
Liked Rural and tranquil setting
Disliked Facilities a bit dated. Nobody about to talk to, there is no check in. Our electric cable wouldn't reach. A number of old statics on site, tried talking to residents however very rude and seemed a bit clickky.
