  • Fishing pond on site; easy access from motorways
Fancy a rural getaway – but one with lots of great attractions nearby and easy access from the motorway? Make a break for The Berries Camping & Caravan Park, tucked away in a quiet Cheshire countryside location about five minutes' drive from Antrobus. You’ll need to do just a 10-minute drive from the M56 to get to this site, which is about 20 minutes’ drive from both Warrington and Runcorn. Liverpool and Manchester are easily within an hour’s drive too – and yet you’d never know all these were nearby when you’re settled in this peaceful green spot. That peaceful atmosphere is partly down to the spacious pitches, where you’ll be able to set up all your kit and light a barbecue to cook your dinner. Picnic tables are provided for comfortable dining, and you’ll have access to handy facilities including toilets (with accessible options), a chemical disposal point and grey water drain as well as electric and fresh water hook-ups at the pitches. At the centre of the site is a large pond that’s got a few fishing spots as well as being a lovely place just to sit quietly and look out for wildlife. And if you need a few other activities to fill your days… well, you’ll have plenty of choice. The surrounding area is home to stately homes, gardens, animal attractions, theme parks and museums, not to mention the excellent Apple Jacks Adventure Farm and Arley Hall & Gardens, both five minutes' drive away. For practical matters, the closest supermarket and food pub are both about 10 minutes’ drive away.

Electric optional grass touring pitch

Liked Nice , clean, solid grass pitches. Right next to the toilets and shower cubicle all cleaned and maintained regularly during our visit .
Loved the fact that Ben let us come in and set up our tent box and living pod before asking about payment and let us do it at our own pace.
Very pleasant owner with all the time for a friendly chat .

Electric optional grass touring pitch

Liked We stayed one night this weekend in our campervan at The Berries Caravan and Camping and had a great experience. The site is peaceful, spacious and well kept, with generous grassy pitches, electric hook-up and water at the pitch. Toilets were clean and there’s also chemical waste and grey water disposal available.

The pond adds to the relaxed countryside feel, and a special mention to Ben, the owner, who was really friendly and welcoming — you can tell he takes pride in the site.

We will be booking to stay again soon ⭐⭐⭐⭐
