What customers say
This is a small, basic campsite conveniently located next to The Harrington Arms pub, offering good food and a friendly atmosphere. Pitches are generally well-maintained with picnic tables and EHU. Facilities are clean but may be considered dated by some. Road noise from the adjacent A-road is frequently mentioned, particularly during weekdays, though many guests found it manageable, especially at night. The site is well-suited for short stopovers.

Liked Good location with in the pub grounds and access straight into the beer garden.
Disliked Situated on a busy road whilst noisy during the day does get better at night.
I got the feeling there was an expectation we were to book a table to eat in the pub.

From the manager: Hi, there’s no expectation for you to dine in the pub but we wouldn’t bring doing our job if we didn’t ask and especially the night you came because we were very busy and wanted to make sure campers atleast get the chance to. Thanks

Disliked Over priced food and drinks at the pub
Camping site is next to a busy road so noisy all night
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: I disagree with the over priced food and drink you had a 10oz steak at £22 and 10oz gammon for £18 from a very good butcher we arnt a Wetherspoons but campsite please read reviews and look at where the campsite is positioned on the Pitchup advert, it clearly states next to a main A road so during week days it’s at its busiest, please research your stops better to save the slander on a small business. Thanks
Definitely stay here again

A pub stop for use on the way to another destination.
Fully-serviced grass and gravel motorhome pitch
Liked As a pub stop, it’s fantastic because the pub is right next door! Plus, there’s an electric hookup, fresh water, and a system for disposing of grey water. They also have chemical toilets and a rubbish disposal system.
Disliked The toilet and shower facilities are basic and not very good. The shared area for dishwashing and lounging is also quite run down.
