Понравилось Went on a Monday and Tuesday. Very quiet small site.
Owner very helpful.
There is a common area with a comfy sofa and dominoes, wash area with a very hot water heater for doing dishes.
Shower was very hot and clean, water pressure is very good. Toilets clean and tidy. Lights are on a sensor that go off very quick so you'll do a flap with your arms to get them on again.
Pub was closed but we were told we could still use the play area and my daughter loved it.
Local walk around the reservoir was perfect with another park there too.

Не понравилось Buildings look a bit run down from the outside, not very inviting. Nothing a day of maintenance and building wouldn't sort.
Seen a lot of comments about road noise but you can see its on a main road and isnt a huge issue at all.

Понравилось It was very quiet as we were the only ones on site. Lovely pub next door. Facilities were nice & clean.

Понравилось The pub and staff really nice, good location for our needs.

Не понравилось Road noise was a little noisy and toilet/shower pretty basic but was very clean.
Our electric lead couldn't reach from van to point in pitch 1 but all the others looked fine.

Понравилось This is a nice little campsite in principle. It overlooks a beautiful valley and has only 10 pitches, which makes for a relaxed and familiar feel. The staff at the Harrington Arms were also very friendly, although there was no food on the day we arrived. The showers and washing-up facilities were better than at many other campsites — there was actually hot water and it was free of charge. They were also kept quite clean.

Не понравилось The facilities are in serious need of updating. Buildings and picnic tables look rickety. The real backside quite literally is the noisy road that runs behind the pitches. Bring earplugs.

Понравилось Location was great, clean and tidy facilities, reasonably priced, lovely reservoir walk over the road, easy access to the pub next door, short drive to several towns, easy to get to and park on, picnic table on all pitches.

Не понравилось Pitches quite close together. Can't really describe as fully serviced pitches as just EHU. But didn't really matter as water not too far away

Понравилось Don’t normally leave reviews but thought I would this time.

Was looking for somewhere to camp and originally come across here but was still searching for somewhere else just incase we found something different. I Was debating here for a few days as we have a 9 year old and didn’t know if he would be bored. Few days later we finally decided to just book it and so glad we did. The campsite is only small which we loved, all facilities are there that you really need. Pub right next door which has a small park, we was luckily enough to be there when the bouncy castle was on aswell. If I’m ever in that neighbourhood again I’d 100% book to come here again. Everyone camping was friendly, staff at the pub are friendly. The road noise didn’t bother us and wasn’t even loud at night so I wouldn’t let that put you off. My sons normally the first to wake up to noise and he slept all through the night. Nothing bad I can say about it.

От менеджера: Thanks for your review but about the dogs having a run there is no mention on our advert that states just let your dogs off freely for a run, we would of happily advised there is a reservoir literally across the road with a 3 mile walk around it where you can let your dogs off, literally 2 minutes walk to the church you can see from the campsite is a walk path to the canal. We definitely do not want dogs off the leash on our site because especially the weekend you came there were 2 piles of dog poo that we had to clear up and we know it was you as other campers had seen you and told us about you so please next time you go somewhere else because you aren’t welcome back here have some respect and clean up your dogs mess. Thanks

And a very busy road behind and quite noisy

Понравилось Level pitches each with grassy area and picnic bench.
Good facilities and services - all included
EHU next to pitch also included.
Playground - rare to find a campsite with one!
Good 5g signal, strong enough for streaming.
Road noise present but couldn’t hear it in the van/didn’t wake us up.
Well situated with lots of hiking nearby.
Well set up for campervans/motorhomes. Good spacing between pitches. We had pitch 2 which was close to the toilet and the fresh water point.
2 toilets and one shower.
Owner came down to the pitch to settle bill, had good local knowledge.
Will book again, price was excellent (£27 per pitch). To get this level of services and EHU for under £30 in summer time is a bargain.
