What customers say
This is a beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean campsite with friendly, helpful owners. Guests praise the spotless facilities, stunning views, and convenient location for walking. While most visitors have a fantastic experience, some mention potential windiness and noise from a nearby wind turbine. The access roads are noted as narrow, but the overall consensus is that the site is well worth the visit.

Would definitely stay again and overall a really lovely site
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely clean facilities (although we used our own), beautifully kept site with a coded security barrier, short grass. Fabulous views and location. Taxis into Holmfirth were easily available and very reasonably priced. Also very reasonably priced at £30 with electric in peak season. The seasonal pitches on the hardstandings were all clean and tidy; these were at the entrance to the site and separate from the touring field.
Disliked Pitch was allocated and personally we would prefer to chose our own and some pitches were sloping, as was our allocated one. Even on top of the ramps with blocks underneath, we couldn’t get level. Maybe on next booking we could request a level pitch 🤔.

Liked Great site with lovely views. Peaceful , met with lovely owner who helped my husband park the caravan and spent time showing him easier ways to park as he is just getting used to towing/ parking. Spotless toilet block. Lovely walk down to holmfirth village around 40 mins . We will definitely return

Beautifully maintained
Owners v friendly and helpful
There's not much around but that is part of why we liked it.
We wanted to stay near the vineyard. It's only ten or so minutes walk but it is down very steep hill, which is even steeper coming back. Still worth the effort though.
