What customers say
This is a quiet, peaceful site with beautiful views, offering a back-to-basics wild camping experience. Visitors praise the incredibly friendly and helpful owners, the secure electric gate entry, and the proximity to walking trails and a local pub. Basic facilities, including portaloos and fresh water, are generally kept clean, though some mention they are basic. The bumpy access track is frequently noted but often seen as part of the rural charm.

We recently stayed at Two Acre…
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We recently stayed at Two Acre Camping and had a lovely experience. The site has a wonderful off-grid feel, surrounded by beautiful tall trees that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The owner was very friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. I also thought it was a lovely touch that there was a box of toys available for children, which kept the kids entertained. The site felt secure, with CCTV and a remotely controlled gate providing extra peace of mind.
Disliked The only downside for me was the toilet. I found the smell quite overpowering.

Makes you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Very peaceful. Within walking distance of the pub (10 mins) Wonderful view. Very friendly welcome. Would gladly stay again if it wasn't so far from us. We used it as an overnight stop on our way home from Whitby. There's everything you need except a shower & hot water.
Perfect place for a tent as they are sited in the woods that's in a hollow, perfectly protected from the wind.
There's an automatic gate that locked at night, so a safe place to be.
Disliked The lane down to it is a rough ride, 1st gear all the way. Entrance is narrow. Not a negative just a heads up.
