  • Adults-only South Yorkshire park 20 minutes’ drive from Doncaster
  • Yorkshire Wildlife Park and The Vulcan Experience 10 minutes’ drive
  • Farm shop and café; dedicated dog park and seven-lake coarse fishery
Set in peaceful rural surroundings on the border of South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, Bank End Waters is an adults-only touring caravan and leisure park with 90 acres of private grounds. It’s 20 minutes’ drive east of Doncaster, with fully serviced pitches on level hardstanding and grass, and there’s an accessible shower block with loos and a washing machine. Handy on-site facilities include a farm shop selling locally reared meats and poultry, homebaked pies, quiches and pasties (saves you doing the cooking) as well as an assortment of fruit, veg and salads. All the food in the café is homemade, and if you want to eat à deux back at your pitch, there’s a takeaway service as well. The site welcomes dogs, and they even have their own, fully secure designated exercise field – just please clean up after them (there’s a bin by the gate for that very purpose). It’s also home to an established fishery with seven well-stocked coarse fishing lakes and a tackle shop for all your angling needs. You can buy day tickets there too.

What customers say

This is a well-maintained, peaceful campsite with a strong emphasis on cleanliness, particularly in the toilet and shower blocks. Guests consistently praise the spacious, fully serviced pitches and the friendly, welcoming nature of the owner, David, and his staff. The on-site farm shop and cafe receive high marks for food quality and reasonable prices. The site is noted as being particularly dog-friendly, with an enclosed field, and offers pleasant walks around the fishing lakes. While some minor suggestions were made regarding shower amenities and tackle shop knowledge, overall feedback is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning return visits.

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked We arrived on site stressed and late but David immediately put us at ease! He was so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us! We were placed near the dog field as he remembered we had a dog with us and also remembered I was gluten intolerant for breakfast in the cafe the next morning (as I had asked about it via facebook). The site was spotlessly clean with beautiful views all around. We’ve already booked to go back!!

Disliked No dislikes but some suggestions - music in the toilets would be an added bonus! Having gluten free meat options at the farm shop would be great for coeliacs like myself (or even ready made bbq meat packs for when the weather is nice) as we had to get in the car to a local shop for stuff for the bbq.

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Showers were clean
Friendly welcome by the owner
Shop and cafe (until 2pm whilst we were there) on site
Large spacious fully serviced pitches
Electricity charge in with daily rate

Disliked - Stool in showers missing
- Don’t like Elsan points in the floor in the open with a removable lid personally
- Lack of knowledge in the tackle shop - told there was a match on a lake my husband wanted to fish only to find out later in the day that there hadn’t been a match!
- would have liked a barrier to where the tourers/vans were
-Lack of signage to where to go as no reception (we were greeted however by the owner)
-no WiFi available during our stay
