  • Adults-only South Yorkshire park 20 minutes’ drive from Doncaster
  • Yorkshire Wildlife Park and The Vulcan Experience 10 minutes’ drive
  • Farm shop and café; dedicated dog park and seven-lake coarse fishery
Set in peaceful rural surroundings on the border of South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, Bank End Waters is an adults-only touring caravan and leisure park with 90 acres of private grounds. It’s 20 minutes’ drive east of Doncaster, with fully serviced pitches on level hardstanding and grass, and there’s an accessible shower block with loos and a washing machine. Handy on-site facilities include a farm shop selling locally reared meats and poultry, homebaked pies, quiches and pasties (saves you doing the cooking) as well as an assortment of fruit, veg and salads. All the food in the café is homemade, and if you want to eat à deux back at your pitch, there’s a takeaway service as well. The site welcomes dogs, and they even have their own, fully secure designated exercise field – just please clean up after them (there’s a bin by the gate for that very purpose). It’s also home to an established fishery with seven well-stocked coarse fishing lakes and a tackle shop for all your angling needs. You can buy day tickets there too.

What customers say

This is a well-organised, peaceful adults-only site with large, fully serviced pitches and excellent, immaculately clean facilities. Guests praised the scenic walks around the fishing lakes, the welcoming and helpful owner, and the on-site farm shop and cafe. The enclosed dog field is a particular highlight. While WiFi was unavailable for some, this was not a significant issue for most. A few minor suggestions were made regarding shower hooks and signage.

Liked Absolutely everything.. Great pitches and scenic walks around the fishing lakes. Lovely owner who was took us to our pitch on arrival and nothing was too much trouble for him. So peaceful and everyone near our pitch (39) was friendly and super quiet which made our stay was exactly as we had hoped for in an adults only site.

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Really liked Bank End Waters. Its a lovely, well organised site with big hardstanding service pitches. Very secure with electric gates which are locked from 8pm onwards.

The fishing lakes are lovely to walk around and have good drainage, so no muddy feet or dogs.

The WiFi wasn't working while we were there but it was no issue for us, we had good phone signal.

The farm shop has lots of great stuff to buy, we got some Lincolnshire sausages and a lovely Victoria sponge cake. We'll definitely be back.

Disliked The toilet block smelt a bit strange! I think maybe they recycle their water? It was super clean in there though.
