What customers say
This is a peaceful, back-to-basics farm campsite offering beautiful views and a quiet atmosphere. Visitors consistently praise the exceptional cleanliness of the portaloos and the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. Pitches are spacious, and fire pits are available to hire. While some note occasional noise from farm animals, particularly pigs, many find it part of the farm experience. A small number of recent reviews mention newly installed showers. Overall, it is highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

Liked The site is set on a farm, with lots of animals in surrounding fields. The facilities are very well kept which include gas powered showers and well maintained toilets. There are facilities for recycling and disposal of ash from fires etc, with fire pits available although we took a camping stove which bricks were provided for :) it’s a nice family run camp site, the man we met in the morning was lovely! Would recommend to both families and solo travellers.

Liked So clean peaceful and quiet just a lovely place for a nice little break. Me and my partner stayed in for two nights on the 31st July and definitely will be returning.
Your not rushed to get off when you live we had some fresh eggs which was lovely. The one thing I wasn’t looking forward to was the portaloos but they was clean and tidy I was very surprised. We hired a fire pit on the Saturday night for a cheap price of £5 we phoned the lady and she came straight away with the fire pit nothing seemed to be to much trouble for her. I would definitely recommend this place we stayed and spent the day in York on the Saturday what a lovely town ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked - what a place! We knew we was visiting somewhere with minimal around it, It’s spacious easy going and friendly just what we wanted minimal around. Nice suprise when we got there for the hire of the camp fire. All I did was drop a text and they communicated back for whatever we needed. I have seen reviews about noisy pigs which made me howl when I arrived because you are on a bloody farm! There was people there that returned regularly and we will too! My daughter loved the sandpit, toilets were clean. Drinking water also. We really felt relaxed after it Thankyou xx
