What customers say
This well-maintained site is praised for its ideal location, perfect for exploring Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay via foot, cycle paths, or nearby bus routes. Visitors highlight spacious and level pitches, clean facilities, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The on-site cafe/bar and proximity to local pubs are also popular. Some guests noted pitches could be small and the electricity payment system incurs extra cost.

Electric optional gravel and hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Spacious pitch for our tentbox and living pod. friendly and very accommodating staff. A “To do” list was printed out for us when we checked in along with directions to The cinder track. We walked the cinder track to Whitby first then Robin hoods bay the next day. This is a lovely way to see the scenery and meet fellow walkers along the way. An honesty stall was on this track and we did purchase water and a delicious flapjack.

Electric optional gravel and hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Quiet at this time of year.
Disliked After staying same time a year ago was looking forward to returning, however we're VERY disappointed this time. The toilet blocks were disgraceful. Sign says closed for cleaning 11am to 12. Arrived on a Sunday at 2.30pm, only 4 other units in touring area. Went to toilets, floor was dirty, bin was half full of rubbish, remnants of goid were in the drain cover under the sinks and one of the soap dispensers was empty. Thought they may have had a busy weekend as all rubbish bins outside were overflowing, so gave them the benefit of the doubt. Next day came back from a walk at 11.45, toilets were open and the floor was wet where it had been mopped but only in the centre of the room by what looked like a dirty mop with cold water. Bin still half full of rubbish, soap dispenser still empty and shower cubicles only mopped in undressing area, not in actual step down into shower and still food remnants in drain cover. Not acceptable at £30 per night plus extra for electric
