What customers say
This well-maintained site is praised for its ideal location, perfect for exploring Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay via foot, cycle paths, or nearby bus routes. Visitors highlight spacious and level pitches, clean facilities, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The on-site cafe/bar and proximity to local pubs are also popular. Some guests noted pitches could be small and the electricity payment system incurs extra cost.

Spacious pitches, excellent facilities. Friendly welcome…
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Spacious pitches, excellent facilities. Friendly welcome and helpful lady at front desk.
Disliked The way some people treated the facilities and left them dirty and grubby just after they had been cleaned. Wifi poor away from club house which isn’t hugely important. Lub house closed early the Sunday night as they ran out of pump/drafts lagers etc. not good planning on a BH weekend

Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked Great on site pub, lovely dog walking spaces, location for exploring
Disliked Very small tight pitches, quite uneven too. Electric payable on top of fee to stay & it’s quite pricey

Great base with all you need
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Great site and not too big. Near to the Cinder track and Cleveland Way for a walk into either Whitby or Robin Hood's Bay. All the facilities you need and even though electricity is extra, I only used 50p for three days! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great bar on site and the food looked lovely.

Wouldn’t return to this site.
Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked Close to bus routes with regular buses.
Views were lovely
Requested 2 pitches together and this was accommodated.
Staff asked on arrival if we needed help setting up.
Disliked We travelled with friends, we had 2 pitches next to each other, the pitches are small. We had to park the car in front of the caravan as there wasn’t enough room at the side. The electric at this site is a top up system. The family we travelled with have an identical caravan to ours. Their 3 night stay cost just under £5 in electric but ours cost a whopping £25. We weren’t in the vans for the majority of the day so I’m struggling to make sense of it. Toilets were on occasions dirty. This site closes the toilets and showers 11-12 each day for cleaning however due to the volume of people it would benefit from intermittent cleaning throughout the day.

Build on a hill no view
Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked I am afraid there was not a lot to like about this camp for us i honestly can not think of one thing
Disliked So many things the toilets where freezing and the showers where set up for Warick Davies no room to hang your cloths and nothing to sit on the shower stayed on for two seconds and went everywhere covering your cloths in water the site is build on a hill not great for your clutch when towing a big twin axel you pay for electric fair enough but they set it to burn through really quick profiting from it which is not on considering you are in the North Yorkshire countryside there is no view from the pitch hard to believe when you see the area they charge for the dog but no dog walk just a money grabbing site that offer very little in return i will never go back there

Spacious pitches and clean facilities.
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Spacious pitches, close to facilities if needed. Friendly staff and a nice quiet campsite. Our only tip would be to check the electric meter before buying a card as there was more than enough left on the meter at our pitch. We used the local buses as the site is handily placed for visiting all the areas along this scenic coast.

Lovely clean site, on site bar/cafe…
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Lovely clean site, on site bar/cafe lovely, food is lush.
Toilets and showers clean
Bus stop 5 mins walk from site - buses go to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough
Disliked You have to buy your electric when you get there, it works out at just under £5 per day, bearing in mind we were out most of the day, which i personally think is quite expensive on top of your cost to stay there.
