What customers say
This is a well-maintained and clean campsite with friendly, helpful staff. Its location is ideal for exploring Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, with convenient bus links nearby. Visitors praised the on-site bar/cafe and dog walking field. Facilities are generally good, though some noted they could be dated or require more frequent cleaning during busy periods. Electric hook-up is available via a card system.

Liked Friendly check in
First impression good - shower block need looking at.
Disliked Shower and toilet block very old and not 100% clean. Cockroach in toilet cubicle.
Cold water in shower and difficult to hold auto push/timer button whilst trying to shower? Same with sinks auto push/timer. What should everyone be penalised because people can’t turn taps off!
Cafe bar was dirty and broken window.
Outside area cigarette ashtray full - not emptied.
Overall disappointing.

Liked Nice pitches, café is nice and location is great
Disliked Toilet and showers really let it down. Showers are incredibly hot to the point of being unpleasant. Toilet paper ran out in many of the cubicles the last day we were there. Sinks were blocked so would fill up with water and drain very slowly

Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked Nice site, good location, the Hare and Hounds pub in the village serves excellent food and the onsite bar is great.
Disliked it’s a shame our stay was spoiled by the neighbouring 3 pitches shouting until past 01:00am and the constant smell of weed being smoked day and night. This cannot be avoided by the site but a warden would be a good idea.
