What customers say
This is a spacious and peaceful campsite with beautiful views, ideal for walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Visitors praise the cleanliness of facilities, friendly owners, and the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Many highlight the convenient location and the option to choose pitches. While generally basic, the amenities are well-maintained and good value for money. Some minor points include occasional train noise and the need for torches in unlit toilet blocks.

Liked Wonderful, amazing and perfect! Huge fields, clean showers and toilets. Walking up to watch PenYGent in the mist. Beautiful walk to the village.
It's a DofE campground and the teenagers arrived late afternoon, left by 8-9am and were polite, quiet and in a different field. Level pitches, no shade, access might be challenging for a motorhome, but campervans were ok.
Disliked The other campers at the weekend who ignored the "quiet after 9:30pm" sign and drank and partied till the early hours.

Liked Nice quiet, relaxed site with clean facilities and helpful owners
We were there with young kids on a very hot weekend so the river running right by the site was an absolute highlight!
Disliked There are trains running right by the site, who I assume need to pull the horn to safely pass through the tunnel but disturbed the kids a lot after bedtime until around 10ish
