What customers say
This roomy, well-kept site offers excellent value in a lovely, peaceful spot. Guests loved the clean facilities with hot showers and ample washrooms. Ideal for hikers, especially for the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Scenic views, wildlife, and the riverside setting were highlights. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The odd train is a charming touch. Access is via a narrow lane; some facilities are basic, but most guests highly recommend and plan to return.

Great for a budget holiday
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Reasonable price, convenient late check-in time, and friendly staff (though I was expecting the opposite based on Google reviews). The trains weren't a bother at all
Disliked if the toilets were stationary block, it would be much more comfortable.
