Field House is a highly recommended, peaceful campsite with beautiful views and ample space. Guests praised the eco-friendly facilities, particularly the showers under the trees. The on-site coffee barn was a hit, offering great food and drinks. Families enjoyed the small play area and farm animals. While some noted minor issues like inconsistent hot water or the composting toilet experience, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many planning return visits.

Liked Field was nice and flat. Lovely view. Eco toilets I was nervous about but wasn't that bad at all. Showers nice. Cafe barn lovely has some live entertainment coffees are really nice. No workers about no check in area just find your spot but numbers are around if you need assistance. Would stay again.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely site, was very apprehensive as this was our first time camping with two young children. But the site had a laid back, chilled out vibe which suited us perfectly. The eco friendly facilities were something we haven’t experienced before and were really impressed of how well kept and clean they were! The owners were lovely. Everything was clean & tidy and everything we needed. We had a lovely time, thank you for making our first family camping trip easy, comfortable and enjoyable!
Disliked Only a small gripe (but not the sites fault) but had noisy neighbours playing music and Tik toks on their phone until the early hours (think they eventually shut it off at 1.30) so obviously was a bit frustrating for us due to having young kids (1&4) but like I say, this isn’t the sites fault. I suppose some people just don’t respect the 10pm quiet time rule! But you can expect this anywhere and wouldn’t have minded it as much if we didn’t have younger kids trying to sleep.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely unique flat site with bar and food. Would definitely come back. Good value for money. The toilet shower block were clean and well maintained. Busy, but to be expected as it was August BH weekend. A donkey on site which was a bit of an early morning alarm for my husband but I didn't hear as I had earplugs in. Next to a potato(?) field which they were harvesting when we were there.
Disliked Not a huge fan of eco toilets but they were clean and always toilet roll available which is the important thing.

Very rural very spacious site and facilities back to basics
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Exceptional vistas, decent coffee barn serving coffee, beers, wines and confectionery
Disliked Not so much of a dislike, the only problem we found was pitches not marked out which in our case lead to much confusion on where to park-up. But no biggie really plus the fact we did rock up on the August bank holiday weekend. But don’t let this put you off
