What customers say
This is a highly recommended, adults-only site praised for its peaceful, rural location and well-maintained, clean facilities. Guests appreciate the spacious pitches, friendly hosts, and the opportunities for walking and cycling directly from the site. The on-site cafe is a welcome addition. Some minor points include potentially bumpy access roads and sloping pitches requiring levelling blocks.

Relaxing bank holiday weekend break
Electric grass pitch (adults only, sloping)
Liked Lovely peaceful site, with large well-kept grass pitches. Washroom facilities clean and spacious, never had to queue even though it was a bank holiday weekend. Great for walking, lots of deer around on the walk to Friday Street. We also had a good walk to Tunstall for a very nice meal at the Green Man.

Electric grass pitch (adults only, sloping)
Liked A lovely campsite in a beautiful setting. Clean. Friendly. Even heard the cuckoo calling! Plus you get to walk to some ponds and wonderful old oak trees.
Disliked Internet reception can be a bit patchy (rural area) and electric pitch sites are on a slope.

A most attractive and unique stay and so remote and peaceful.
Wooden Tent camping pod
Liked The accommodation was quite basic but perfect for my needs and including a comfortable bed, heating and a kettle, crockery and cutlery etc. I also appreciated the other nice facilities, with a nearby kitchen and toilets and showers and all really well presented and spotlessly clean. The staff member I met was very friendly and welcoming :)
Disliked No dislikes as such, but it would have been great if tea bags and coffee and sugar were provided.
