What customers say

Beetlebank Farm offers a peaceful, wild camping experience in a beautiful meadow setting, often praised for its tranquillity, space, and proximity to coastal towns. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful owner, Geoff, the provision of water, and the cleanliness of the portaloos. While some mention occasional road and train noise, the campsite is frequently described as excellent value for money, ideal for those seeking a back-to-basics escape. A few reviews noted issues with grass length and toilet upkeep.

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch

Liked Great location, lovely campsite. Wild camping but with clean portaloos. Very nice gesture providing some water for the stay. Owner is really nice and thoughtful, but you get a real sense of privacy. Would definitely visit again

Liked We had a fantastic stay at Beetlebank Farm. A beautiful, peaceful place to enjoy some quiet time, but also very well connected to rural and coastal walks and interesting villages and towns to explore. We were made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Strongly recommend this place for campers looking for peace and fun! Thanks for a brilliant time.

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch

Liked Our 2nd year visiting, I think it may become a yearly tradition. Back to basics in a lovely meadow (this year with a view of two very quiet donkeys). A great spot to let the kids run free, swing on the tyre swing and stay up late without bothering anyone (we had the place to ourselves)
Two very clean and stocked portaloos are the only amenity hence the 2 night stay.
