Liked: Loved how quite it was here. We stayed for one night in our camper van. The shower facility was nice and hot. They also had washing facility for cutlery. We were also able to empty our toilet and put some water in our tank. We also were able to have a fire in the evening.
Disliked: No dislikes at all.

Liked: All the space and everything beautifully kept. The peacefulness the bird song.
The cleanliness of not just the toilet block but throughout. The area was lovely and The Maybush was a really nice pub with stunning views which used most evenings of our stay. This is unusual for us as we like to try different things but it had such a nice vibe and good food and friendly staff.
Disliked: Not a real dislike but I would have preferred to have wifi but I managed with data.

Liked: Such a lovely adult only site. Lots of secluded areas within the orchard or scrubbery for those wanting quiet spots to camp up with tents and campervans.
The owners are continuously planting more areas to break up the large areas.
Also there are lines of EHU areas for those wanting that.
Along with a few wooden pods that can be hired.
The site has a few water taps. A smart toilet blocks with sinks and separate shower block that you need tokens bought from reception. Along with a covered washing up area. All are kept very clean and tidy.
There is a bin area that also has two large metal boxes for ash. A toilet water and grey water along with a hose to raise anything out.
There are also a couple of squatter field for those with touring caravans to pitch up.
The site is a lovely quiet site. And is an easy walk down to the riverside. Where you can explore walks along the river.
You can walk to the Maybush pub with a nice garden to sit and watch the boats and wildlife. Pub sells good food.
Staff were very helpful and friendly I had a wonderful stay.
Disliked: They want really anything.
Except they are only a few water taps but I didn’t find this problem.
There wasn’t wifi but signals on my phone were ok.

From the manager: Dear Judith,
Thank you so much for your kind review. We're so pleased you enjoyed your time with us!
We do want correct that we do not have tokens for the showers - these are free to use with pitch fees.
We hope to see you again!
Kind regards,
Jennifer

Liked: This time, I stayed with my RTT in the wild camping area which offers generously sized, level pitches which are not allocated, so you can choose yourself where to pitch.
I've enjoyed the peaceful site with tip-top facilities, very friendly, helpful and approachable owners and the location which invites to explore the wider area such as seaside, Sutton Hoo etc, or just locally as I did with cycling and hiking around the river Deben. Plenty of wildlife to spot and to enjoy and I even met a muntjac on the camp site.
A torch is recommended for night time trips to the facilities.
Loved every minute there and will pitch there again.
