The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).- Group bookings of 4 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
- Single-sex bookings of 4 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Guests under the age of 25 are not allowed on site.
- Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
- Guests must bring their own duvets, pillows, sheets and towels when staying in rental accommodation. You will not be allowed to stay if you do not bring these items.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
- No gas barbecues allowed.
- If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
- Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.

Liked Location - beautiful, green spaces with trees, great set out. Not just bland flat grass. Facilities clean and good condition. Over 25’s only. Remote check in. Motorcycle friendly.

Able to choose our own space to pitch up on from the massive wildlife field area
Toilets & showers were immaculate (only 2 showers though which wasn't an issue for us because the campsite wasn't too busy but can imagine there might be a wait when the campsite is fuller)
Nice washing up area & plenty of bins available for both general waste & recycling as well as ones for disposal of bbq coals
Easy self check in & access to the site via the code for the barrier.
Disliked Not a dislike but the phone signal & 4G wasn't too great/non existent on the wildlife camping field (EE), was stronger near to the toilet block

Liked This place is out of this world! We’ve been touring for six years and I would put this is our top 2! Everything from booking to departing and everything in between is perfect. We stayed in our caravan in the wildlife area and is the first time we’ve stayed without hookup. The location far outweighs the need for electric and we can’t wait to return.

Liked Wild camping area, plenty of space even when quite a few guests.
Facilities are spotless.
Disliked Ideally more than two showers required for size of site.
Lovely site but sadly due to a large outdoor event in a marquee taking place nearby that played very loud music until 2am, we didn’t have the quiet break away we needed and were looking forward to 😔.
Would have rated 10/10 if it was t for the lack of sleep.

From the manager: We completely appreciate the disruption you experienced, which was not, as you know, on our site, and thus beyond our control. We are pursuing the issue with the council. It is an unfortunate occurrence which is not the norm here and we do apologise it impacted your stay with us.
