Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch (woodland)
Liked The whole site and the close proximity to the River Stour Estuary. A peaceful retreat from a busy life up to now. For any interested in Bird Watching the Oyster Catchers were plentiful on the estuary beach.

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch (woodland)
Liked I loved this site. The pitches feel so individual and private. Water tap, fire pit, and picnic bench on the pitch. All we needed. Very pretty, very relaxing.

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch (woodland)
Liked Very peaceful, close to the estuary, where the water had been warmed by the late May sun and was lovely for a refreshing dip after a hike from Manningtree. I rang when I was close and was asked to choose a pitch. There was the only one left, but I'm convinced it was one of the best - no. 3, tucked away in the corner, from where I could glimpse the estuary through the trees. It was furthest from the facilities but that didn't matter because the whole site is tiny. The only sounds at night were the wind in the trees and foxes barking to each other.
