Friendly owner, generous amount of fire wood due to cold eve. Beautiful views and morning greeting from the cows next door. So homely and the facilities were clean and close.

Very nice and quiet place. Kids loved the venue on last night especially guitar, as my little one said big🔥 and marshmallow.

Spacious field lots of room, even on bank holiday with a fair few campers we still had ample space around us. Likely that not enough people know about this site but am sure that will soon change with the excellent feedback it deserves.
The owners were friendly and attentive.
Use of fridge and freezer, only small so if its busy may not be able to use but still a bonus.
Free tea and coffee in the kitchen wash area.
Free plugs to charge mobiles.
Again even tho only a couple of plugs we never had a problem being able to use them.
Shower room was great, hot shower £1.50 for 15 mins, a slot booking system in the wash area, popular times did get booked earlier but we never had a problem having a shower just flexibility around times.
Jam night was awesome, big bonfire and the singers was a great place to get all the campers together.
Dog friendly, our pooch had a ball with so much space to chase her ball.
Portaloos dotted around the field. We're clean on arrival but became a bit smelly 3 days in but only to be expected from portaloos.
Fire pits to hire £5 a night plus wood, we hired one, was perfect, to keep warm under the millions of stars.
Great location, Beccles was a lovely little village with some nice places to eat. We also visited Southwold, Aldeberg and Thorpeness.

Would 100% recommend for anyone, couples and families.

People brushing their teeth in the kitchen/ pot wash sinks. Unhygienic esp in these times. Not the owners fault as I'm sure they not aware of this but maybe a sign above the sinks to say not for brushing teeth! I mean who does that anyway.

Could maybe do with a couple more bins as found the ones at top of field were always full. And bit of a trek from bottom of the field.

Lots of space for tents and can have privacy as field is huge. Nice views from top of the field and could enjoy lovely sunset from our tent.
Kids have lovely time, was safe for playing on the field.
Portaloo on field were clean.
Extra bonus was life music and big fire one evening organized by owner on bank holiday weekend,was great entertainment for adults and children.

Might be helpful to have some water point on the field, not just in the kitchen, longer walk.

Friendly welcome, not busy, good facilities, hot shower, decent washing up area, clean portaloos, an evening of musical entertainment around a comunal fire

Grass was a bit too long which when wet was a bit of an issue. Shower was good except there was only one and more were needed.

We had a great stay at this site, ideal to use as a base for trips out and about in the local area. Local Supermarkets Morrisons, Tesco, Lidl all next to each other approx 2 mile drive, or get a take-away delivered to the site.

Huge camping field to pitch up round the edge, yes the grass is a little long (per other reviews) but no great problem, bring a pair of wellies or decent walking shoes and it is soon solved. There is a wooden hut structure at the very top of the field which would allow to take shelter if weather isn't kind, it is also used as a gathering point for a camp fire which was great and there was a singer on one night we were there which we appreciated.

Use of a fridge to keep stuff cool was a nice touch, well used as you would expect on a bank hol weekend, maybe an additional fridge and a chest freezer to re-freeze Ice packs could be considered along with a toaster and a microwave.

Usb points to give your phone a boost were available and the ability to make hot drinks with mugs provided.

Owners were really friendly and always making sure the site and facilities were well kept.

Wouldn't hesitate to return to this site.
