What customers say
This campsite offers a peaceful natural setting near a lake and Norwich. Visitors praise the clean, modern facilities, friendly staff, and well-stocked shop. It's described as accessible, though some found bark paths challenging in wet weather. Dogs are welcome, and fire pits are permitted. While generally quiet, some reviews mention noise from groups and occasional busy periods. Minor maintenance issues like a worn bridge surface have been addressed by management.

A well laid out sight well worth visiting!
Lower Meadow non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Amazing facilities and always impeccably clean. Very friendly and helpful staff and although small, the on site shop was exceptional for what it’s stocked. The cafe over the road is also really good - I don’t think the website actually praises that enough, fantastic food and drinks. The water activities nearby are also very well ran with very friendly staff.
Disliked We did find that it was a fairly noisy site from nearby cargo rail tracks that seem to be going throughout the day and night and also the airspace. It is very close to an RAF base, so quite a lot of plane noises. That said - we saw plenty of fighter jets which was an absolute delight!

Upper Meadow non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Beautiful setting, well maintained by friendly staff. Facilities modern and clean. Close to lovely country park for water sports and with summer craft activities for the children. Walkable into Norwich. Great pubs nearby.
Disliked Due to the exceptionally dry weather ants were very active in search of food&water therefore take precautions if you don't want them flooding your tent!
