Non-electric grass pitch

Liked: Really nice quiet location. Good clean showers and toilets. Only had a drink in the pub, but was lovely to sit by the river and watch the ferry. The kids loved it as well, so we are planning next trip

Electric grass pitch

Liked: We went on ferry to get to park!

Disliked: Didn't like no one their on site, had trouble finding our pitch , all the grounds was waterlogged and lot's of pot holes. Been to this site quite a few times and it seems to have put a lot more pitches on making it cramp, toilets was not cleaned properly.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Location. Heated flooring in the shower.

Disliked: I understand why showers/water point facilities have timers, however, you have to keep pressing the button every 15 seconds in the shower, the washing up area tap stayed on a little longer, however, the hot tap didn’t get beyond luke warm. Someone very rarely answers the phone. I needed to speak with them. I called pretty much every hour throughout the day, one day but didn’t get hold of anyone, and there’s no option to leave a message. I did try emailing, but then it took 2 days for someone to respond. On the flip side, when you do speak with someone they are so extremely helpful, first class customer service.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: She clean and we'll kept. The surrounding scenery beautiful.

Disliked: The three steep steps to the toilet and shower were not suitable for people with mobility problems. The water from the sonatas was cold and not long enough burst. The washing up area was at the phrase is the camp and he water again was cold. The taps were too short to place a washing bowl underneath. I feel here should have been toilets and washing up facilities either end of the camp site.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked: Great location, great campsite and a great all round trip. New toilet block was excellent, loved the shower. Will definitely return soon.

Disliked: Some inconsiderate people talking loudly after quiet time of 10pm. But sure management picked up on it.

Local attractions

Walk along the river to Reedham village for fish and chips, Reedham Quay and more pubs: the Lord Nelson has free gigs most nights, or you could take the yard of ale challenge in The Ship – both pubs are dog-friendly and dish up huge portions of food. The Humpty Dumpty Brewery, one of the breweries supplying the site, has a shop selling its beer alongside local ciders and produce. For families, Pettitts Adventure Park is also in Reedham, with a kids' theatre and animals to feed and pet. From Reedham, take the 12-mile cycle route starting from Reedham Quay and going through local towns and villages, or take the chain ferry across the River Yare to drive on through the countryside. But as it’s the Broads, a bit more mucking about in boats is definitely in order: as well as the vehicle ferry from the park itself, several companies in the area offer cruises and guided tours or you can go rowing, canoeing or sailing under your own steam. Take the kids to goggle at the gibbons at Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, just outside Great Yarmouth: the seaside town is about 11 miles from Reedham Ferry and will keep small fry entertained for hours (if not days) with its circus, Sea Life, seafront Golden Mile and 12 amusement arcades.
