What customers say
This peaceful, rural site offers spacious, flat pitches in a quiet location. Visitors consistently praise the exceptionally friendly and welcoming owners, Amy and Graham, who are highly accommodating. Facilities, including showers and washing-up areas, are frequently described as immaculate and well-maintained. The site's low occupancy ensures a relaxed atmosphere. Minor points raised include minimal signage and a preference for separate toilet and shower facilities. A local pub is within walking distance.

Great, simple, rural site within striking distance of Norwich.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Very friendly proprietors: Amy was very welcoming when we arrived.
Laid back simple site with loads of space.
Generally, this is all we need (don’t necessarily need all the bells and whistles of the larger sites).
Essentially a flat rectangular field surrounded by a hedge. Rained whilst we were staying, but no problem with drainage.
Occupancy (max No of tents/pitches) limited by the proprietors to keep it a relaxed and spacious feeling site.
Very rural feel to the location (quiet spot, and very dark at night).
Pub (with a simple food menu) a short distance away (with pedestrian pavement next to the road throughout) - take a torch if attending after dark!
Very well maintained and clean facilities included an inside washing up sink, fridge, and an excellent shower.
Disliked Signage into the site was very minimal- we drove passed initially. I’m pleased that I checked what it looked like on Google Maps prior to arrival.
It’s a small site, aimed at a low occupancy, so this may seem nit-picky, but having a separate toilet to the shower would be an improvement on the current combined (but otherwise, excellent) facility. if someone is already in there having a shower, you may need to cross your legs while you wait for access!
Other than the above, it’s really hard not to like the place for a short stay.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We stayed at this campsite recently and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
The hosts Amy and Graham are wonderful and made sure everything was as it should be. They were very accommodating to all the guests and assisted some campers with local wedding destinations.
Site is flat with no designated pitches and has very new and modern washing up and toilet/shower facilities.
There is a great pub just down the road, which serves food.
When coming into the village with the School on your left, look for the sign soon after that.
Our Sat Nav did not take us to the site, so may be beneficial to use Waze!
Disliked Nothing at all !!

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great little site, love the location, not far from market towns but village-y enough. The low numbers of pitches limit means its so very quiet. I am a solo cycle-camper, so the picnic table and pitch where I want was ideal. Bathroom facilities spotless, and a great little use of space including free shower. I will definitely be back as/when needed in that area
Disliked Nothing really. I SHOULD have read the booking details then I would have taken enough cash, but the bank transfer option worked well.

Proper traditional quiet campsite with great hosts.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked This was our first time at Broom Meadow and we loved this campsite. It's very quiet, in a village location and the pitches are a good size. It was not that busy when we visited which made a for a very peaceful stay. Our host, Amy, was super helpful and friendly and checked on us each day. The washing block and shower/toilet was spotlessly clean. The campsite is in a good location, with the local pub a few minutes' walk away, and great for exploring Norfolk. We are returning on the next Bank Holiday.
Disliked We didn't dislike anything.
