Manor Caravan Park: Pitches

General

  • Peaceful park within 10 minutes' walk from Happisburgh beach
  • Accommodation fields with views of Happisburgh lighthouse
  • Within 35 minutes' drive of both Cromer and Great Yarmouth

Happy times in Happisburgh? Bag a break at Manor Caravan Park in this quiet Norfolk village for a peaceful setting, a friendly laidback vibe and a location only 10 minutes’ walk from the nearest beach.

The family team here have run the park for over 50 years and know their stuff inside out when it comes to the essentials for excellent holidays: there’s a spacious, clean and modern amenities block with male, female and accessible/family facilities; reception is open daily, and site wardens Barbara and Mike are on hand to show guests to their pitches and to keep everything running smoothly. Covered sinks at the rear of the toilet block supply hot water and an Elsan point is also available.

Pitches are in two roomy fields, divided by the amenities block with views of the famed Happisburgh lighthouse and the 15th-century church sitting high on a hill overlooking the village. Off site, it’s half a mile’s stroll to Happisburgh beach, 15 minutes’ drive to North Walsham and 10 minutes to the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cromer is half an hour’s drive to the north and Great Yarmouth 35 minutes south.

Manor Caravan Park is set up as a 'get away from it all' site, so there’s no noisy bar, arcade or other overcrowded facilities, just a large play area for kids' games available unless the site is very busy (and set well away from the pitching fields). Other essentials are within easy reach: the local pub is five minutes’ walk away and a café serving breakfasts, takeaway fish and chips, lunches and afternoon teas and cake is five minutes’ drive from the site.

Source supplies at the local beach too, home to an acclaimed burger van service in summer selling crab and beef burgers as well as cakes… these have proved pretty popular with previous guests…

Please note

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Reception is unmanned after 5 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Nice open site, plenty of space when we were there. Easy walk to the village(shops/pub/beach). Very nice toilet/shower block. A small on-site shop with the basics.
Very helpful person showed us to the pitch and made sure all was ok. Grass pitches but looked well drained and unlikely to get too muddy.

Everything, the nicest site we have EVER stayed on. The facilities were pristine, everything you could want had been thought about. The toilet and shower blocks were excellent and the cleanest we have ever seen, sensor taps and sensor flush, plenty of space in the shower cubicle, plenty of hooks and in all the right places. Great washing up sinks, fab little shop and really friendly and helpful staff. The views were fantastic.

    Disliked:

Only slight grumble the bin men arrived at 6am and then from 7am there were lots of planes going over. Obviously I understand both of these were totally outside the control of the campsite.
