Electric grass pitch (woodland)
Liked: Amazing meadow with spacious pitches and good clean facilities. Each woodland pitch has its own bench and fire pit. Tina and James that run the site could not be more accommodating. Very good value for money. Oh and to the awesome couple who helped push my van out the field when it rained. You are truly great human beings thankyou so much! I hope the sun shines for you!

Meadow non-electric grass pitch
Liked: Lovely flat pitch, very generous space between the pitches. Good location (Waitrose less than mile away). Good base for exploring the area. Friendly campsite owners, available on site.
Disliked: Not within site owners' control, but the spell of very wet weather made the access challenging for some heavier vehicles esp rear-wheel drive. The owners were on hand help, I have not reduced the rating because of that.

Liked: Lovely relaxed campsite with large pitches and a chilled out vibe. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Great being able to sit round the fire pits and toast marshmallows. Facilities are basic (as advertised) but spotlessly clean.

Meadow non-electric grass pitch
Liked: This campsite is such an enjoyable experience, even at our fourth visit! What makes it so special; is the warm welcome that you receive from Tina and James, the large sized pitches so that you can have privacy and space, the woodland areas, for those would want to be more remote and embrace the outdoors, and the field location with its circular zones and wild flowers.
Disliked: Nothing

Woodland non-electric grass pitch
Liked: A very low impact site for those who want a good base to explore surrounding area. Facilities are very clean and the hosts helpful and friendly. Peaceful location and the host encourage this by not allowing large groups as this is not a party site for late night drinking, loud music or noise. It suits couples, singles or famlies who want enjoy a peaceful relaxing time after a day exploring. Pitches are located around the perimeter of the field, with lots of space between them. Fire pits are placed on each site, and wood is available from hosts. A selection of cast iron pans are available to borrow, with grids for fire pits if you want a real open fire cook out. Its as near as wild camping as you can get but with the luxury of running tap water, flushable toilets and solar showers. We had a great time.
