Liked: Facilities...like fridge and kettle. Surroundings...wildlife. Watching farm activities.
Disliked: Not a problem this time, but only one toilet. There was dog poo on our pitch, no doubt from a previous camper.

Liked: Loved this place. Beautiful surroundings in a gorgeous part of Norfolk, lots of animals, friendly owners. Spotless shower and toilet and handy kitchen facilities like fridge etc. Recommend borrowing one of the maps provided and making the 6 mile round walk to the Stag Inn pub. Passes through lots of rewilding areas with chance to see white cattle, deer, rabbits, horses, etc.

Liked: Quiet, small and friendly site.Dog friendly. Each pitch with ehu and water. Walks direct from the site. Walking through the rewinding area
Disliked: Pitch not really level. No pub, shop within 3 miles.

From the manager: Thank you for you review! I am sorry you found the pitch unlevel, however they are very large pitches and although not completely level it is possible to pitch on a level part. There are 3 pubs in the local area - neighbouring villages of Gayton 2.2 miles, West Acre 3 miles (plus a brewery) and East Winch 3.4 miles away. 2 shops - Pentney 2.2 miles and Gayton 2.9 miles away
Perfect for anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful place

Liked: Fantastic setting, rewilding area with lovely walks on a small site. My absolute favourite, has everything essential with a spotless shower, WC, disposal and there are even firepits if you want. Will be returning next time in Norfolk

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked: Incredibly peaceful! There's only a handful of pitches, each very large and spacious, with views of the pond and the old church across fields. Metal fire pits provided and there's a couple of picnic benches there too. Clean (and warm!) shower and kitchen area with kettle, microwave and fridge. They provide leaflets setting out a number of walks in the area - we did walks 1 and 2 which loop through the rewilding area of the estate. A couple minutes drive to some nice pubs, and the fantastic Duration brewery is just 15 mins away by bicycle (or about an hour's walk). If you're looking for a good basic and peaceful campsite to get away from it all and into nature, this place is perfect. We'll definitely come back here!
Disliked: Struggling to think of anything remotely negative about this place... But the firewood we bought from the campsite (£5 in the honesty box) was a bit damp and smoky, but then it has been very wet the last few weeks!
