General
- Less than 10 minutes' walk from the Norfolk coast at Hunstanton
- Family park with kids' club, activities and evening entertainment
- Two heated pools on site with terrace and loungers
Off to the Norfolk coast? Looking for a park in a sweet spot for the beach but with stacks to do on site for all the family? Settle down for a break at Manor Park Holiday Village, half a mile from the sands and red sandstone cliffs of Hunstanton.
This place will keep the family busy all the day long with a vast range of entertainment for Norfolk holidaymakers of all bents and in all weather… The kids have a club run by the Starland Krew and a tiddlers' club for the under-fives, covering heady highlights like a wizards' academy, discos, spy school, pirate quest, bake-offs, dancing, crafts and sand art – and a play park for afterwards just in case they're not quite tuckered out enough.
Grownups, meanwhile, have a sports and leisure programme to tackle which could see them on the pools' aqua jets, walking on water in giant bubbles or whirling through the water during adults-only swim times. To take it easier, go along to one of the many daytime activities, from jewellery making and pottery to talks, lectures and dog-friendly events.
The two heated outdoor pools at the park have a roomy terrace and sun loungers to watch the kids from: this should, of course, mean 'poolside cocktail'… All ages can then sort out an evening at the refurbished Park View Complex for a wide variety of acts where the likes of live music and quizzes are laid on alongside murder mystery shows, pub games and talent shows. (You might also like the sound of Movies under the Stars.)
Eats and drinks are covered in the Boathouse bar and restaurant, and other facilities include amusements, a launderette, dishwashing area and showers/loos with disabled access and baby changing. Gas is available to buy from the touring reception.

Local attractions
It might take just a little while to make it off site, but when you do it's just a little while to the nearest beach at Hunstanton, less than half a mile away.
Head here for a first-rate beach edged by its famous red and white cliffs, the seal sanctuary and aquarium, Esplanade Gardens and the quieter vibe of Hunstanton's old town, an easy walk from the new one. Both the Norfolk Coast Path and the Peddars Way long-distance paths cut through here on their route to Cromer.
Queenly sorts can have a day at Liz's pad Sandringham near Manor Village, where there's also free access to the Sandringham country park throughout the year. If historic houses highlight a holiday for you, have a look too at Narborough Hall and its gardens near King's Lynn; the small seventeenth century thatched house of Poacher Cottage at Hempnall, and mighty Norfolk dwellings like Houghton and Holkham hall.
Searching for souvenirs? Regular ware-buying events are held throughout the summer at the Hunstanton & District craft fair and the craft market at nearby Fakenham is held once a month from March to December.
