Liked: Staff v helpful. Showers and shared facilities good. Plug socket for charging devices. Excellent value for money.
Disliked: As a bicycle tourist with no large tent I missed large shady trees and picnic tables. There is road noise (B-road nearby).

Liked: I loved my stay at Rectory Farm Campsite. The pitch was well spaced out and surrounded by beautiful wildlife. The facilities were fantastic with a great hot shower, clean and well stocked toilets, and a lovely little kitchen with plenty of fridge/freezer space, a microwave, washing up sinks and washing/ironing facilities (did not use these however). Each pitch had a firepit and wood was available to purchase on site. There were also delicious fresh oyster mushrooms available to buy which was a great addition! The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home and extremely safe - particularly as a solo female camper. Each day I had ducks and chickens visit the camp which was lovely. The site is very peaceful with many birds for a beautiful birdsong wake-up. It's a short walk into the quaint local village that had everything that you would need, 15-20 minute walk to the co-op. Highly recommended, and I will absolutely be returning!
Disliked: One shower (in a separate block with single toilet) would either be burning hot or freezing.. this was fine as the other one was fantastic and I never needed to queue in the mornings.

A lovely pretty rural site, if a little rustic in places. Great value.

Electric optional grass touring pitch
Liked: This is a lovely rustic site set in the Norfolk countryside. Access is easy from the main road, but down a very bumpy track. Pitches are large and many are dotted around in pretty little private glades. There are many electric hookups which are metered and the usual fresh water and CDP. Two fishing lakes are very popular and the owners are making great efforts to make this a beautiful quiet wildlife haven.
Disliked: Sadly much of our stay it rained hard. Very hard! Most sites would struggle in those conditions, so the fact it was very wet and boggy underfoot should not be a reflection of the normal conditions on the site. One point which did make me nervous was exiting the site. Its on a busy blind bend with traffic approaching at speed from your right. With a caravan on tow, its a heart in mouth moment.

Liked: Me, my wife and dog stayed in the Shepherd's Hut. Enclosed garden so the dog could roam free. Beautiful, comfortable hut. Fantastic roofed outdoor cooking area with sink, fridge and gas b-b-q. Welcoming hosts and excellent fishing. We will be returning next year.
