What customers say
This exceptionally beautiful and well-maintained campsite offers spacious, peaceful pitches. Guests praise the owner's care and the lovely, green location, ideal for dog walking. Fishing lakes are available at extra cost. While the site lacks WC facilities, this is not a problem for many. Easy walks lead to a local pub and market. A truly hidden gem with good value, many guests intend to return. A chemical disposal point improvement and recycling bins would be a welcome addition.

We stayed 6 night in this relaxing retreat, fishing 4 out of the 6
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked As soon as we drove in the reaction was "Wow!" The well kept grounds studded with a mix of different trees & lakes of various sizes, was better than we expected. Having retired and using a tourer for 4 years we have visited a few sites, this was the most striking ! A beautiful retreat with a very pleasant owner.
Disliked The only downside some may feel is the site does NOT have a toilet / shower block or wash up area. Some may find this " unusual but my reply is " why buy a van capable of off grid living, that is self contained with toilet & shower built in.. and not use it?" People are aware before they book so shouldn't be a markdown on the site!

Disliked Not a dislike but a slightly improved chemical disposal point and a recycling bin would make this excellent site perfect.
