What customers say
This park boasts a beautiful woodland setting with excellent facilities, including a clubhouse and restaurant. Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, clean washrooms, and good value. However, many reviews mention issues with sloping pitches, limited shower availability during peak times, and occasional noise disturbances. The site's location is convenient for walks to Cromer and the beach.

Liked Friendly people and kids liked the play park. Overall even though there were valid negative points we did enjoy our stay, staff that we encountered were all friendly and helpful.
Disliked There was limited showers, only 3 per block for quite a large area, the water temperature was intermittent so would be either boiling hot or freezing cold and there was not temperature gauge on them, simply push the button and hope for the best. There were no family bathrooms so had to wash my little one in the main showers which was not easy as there was knowhere in the cubicle other than a peg to hang your things. I also wouldn’t say they were overly clean as one of the drains smelt like rotten eggs and there was build up scum in the corners as well as hair on the walls.
The shower cubicle themselves were large enough to add a split screen and bench to put your clothes. There also wasn’t enough toilets, my husband went several times and they would be full up.
There wasn’t a proper facility to put waste water down, we were told to put it down the elsen point which had a high wall in front of it so was impossible to lift a wastemaster up when full. We had booked a hard standing but were told the next day that there was a technical glitch in the booking system so had to have a grass pitch, at no point were we told that the pitches were on a slope so wasn’t very prepared for that, that would be useful to have known prior to arrival.

Lovely site shame people dont respect quiet times.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked The site is lovely.
The bar and restaurant always had seating available and was very clean. Bar and restaurant dog friendly but the shop isnt.
The food was lovely. Showers and toilets were clean. The singers were decent too.
There is wifi but it was intermittant.
Short driving distance away from Cromer, Overstrand, The Runtons and Sheringham. Lovely chippy right next to a pub in East Runton.
Disliked The dog wash was cold water only which was pretty useless tbh.
The quiet times I thought were reasonable however there were a few guests (large group) with feral kids taking over the playpark...shining big torches at us so we had to retreat to inside the caravan. They also continued their party to 1am on at least 2 nights causing us all not to sleep...the following morning I waited until quiet time was over and played some music which I'm not sure they appreciated but oh well.
If people had respected the quiet times I would most certainly be returning to this lovely site.
I'd strongly recommed the overnight security phone number is given out on arrival, if not request it.

Avoid. Not family orientated.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Nice big pitches. Fairy walk was a bit run down but would be great with a little touch up.
Disliked Pool was shut for refurbishment. No prior mention of this as booked months in advanced. Not communicated to us.
Play parks were rubbish the central one had 1 big kid swing 1 baby swing and a wooden boat to climb. Kids were bored after 5 minutes. The other play park by restaurant wasn't much better.
Cars driving very fast around site. Not stopped by a warden etc...
Lacking in that family feeling. No activities put on during the day over summer.
We left early after an incident that we could not ignore and to their credit the office team handled it very well.
We however felt extremely sadend by the fact that this site was advertised as one of the best around and it fell very far off that to us.
We would not go back. And would not reccomend.

Liked Good location to the town and beach.
Disliked We booked this site as a bit of a luxury treat and a chance to reset after travelling around in our campervan, so unfortunately it was quite a disappointing stay.
A few hours after making the booking and payment, we received a phone call to say there had been a glitch in the booking system and the fully serviced pitch we had booked wasn’t actually available. Mistakes happen, and we were happy to accept a grass pitch instead, but unfortunately when we arrived we found the grass pitches were all very sloping and positioned quite closely together. We had to ask to be moved and ended up changing pitches twice during our stay, which wasn’t exactly the relaxing experience we had hoped for.
For the price, we were also disappointed with the facilities. They felt quite dated, unclean and generally a little messy, we’ve stayed at much nicer sites for considerably less money. The phone signal was also very poor on both pitches we stayed on, and wasn’t able to reach the site’s free Wi-Fi, which was frustrating.
The site was also very busy with groups and families, with dogs barking and loud music continuing until quite late at night. It was during the summer holidays, so we appreciate that some noise is to be expected, but it did add to the feeling that this wasn’t the peaceful reset we had booked it for.
Overall, we felt the site was very expensive for what it offered and unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations. We’ve stayed at plenty of sites that offered a much better experience for considerably less.

Liked Plenty of family things great customer service in shop and club house and reception ..bar prices were reasonable, the sun was shining...
Disliked Didn't like that tents were mixed up with touring caravans and motorhomes ...most pitches on an incline .. asked for a quiet spot and was in the middle of a big family gathering in tents .. disappointed..wasn't for us
Won't be going again ... but absolutely great for families ...
