Me gustó Great place to stay, lots to do, great walks through the woods & along the cliff tops to Cromer, the entertainment each night over the weekend in the bars was excellent

Me gustó The fairy trail was perfect for our 5 year old granddaughter. The surrounding trees. Its location for Cromer town, Amazon zoo which was brilliant, and other places along the coast.

No me gustó The nearest shower block was closed our entire stay so a fair track to the next, with just 3 showers. The fact we weren't told on booking in that we would require a card to use the barrier when entering. Apparently it was in all the literature handed out which we did not have chance to read before our first trip off the site. A little sign on the reception counter stating you need an entry card to operate the barrier would be so simple. The playground was very poor. 1 baby swing, 1 ordinary swing and a wooden pirate ship which hardly stirred the imagination!! Then 2 further swings elsewhere. Many pitches were on a slope, including ours, but fortunately we had tge equipment to sort that.

Me gustó Everything about this site was perfect. Very tidy and site in a beautiful setting. Great facilities. Friendly helpful staff. The onsite pub and restaurant was absolutely superb with a very high standard of food. We were expecting microwave lasagne and Ross fish but everything was home made and of a very high standard I had venison steak and it was fantastic. We will definitely be going back next year.

Bar tables not cleaned from the evening b4 as arrived for breakfast on opening and tables dirty with food on floor

Me gustó Restaurant and cocktail bar. Country walks and park. Nearby Cromer and Overstrand towns. The coast nearby.

Me gustó Everything! The site is clean and tidy. The forest walks are beautiful and I especially loved the pigs!
Security was brilliant when some idiots lit a BBQ only a few hours after we had the alert on our phones.
I really loved the dog unleash field, it's a great idea to give the dogs a bit of freedom!
The pub and restaurant are great too!

No me gustó To be fair this is not the sites fault but but people walking through other people's pitches! Drives me and my dogs crazy!

Me gustó Friendly people and kids liked the play park. Overall even though there were valid negative points we did enjoy our stay, staff that we encountered were all friendly and helpful.

No me gustó There was limited showers, only 3 per block for quite a large area, the water temperature was intermittent so would be either boiling hot or freezing cold and there was not temperature gauge on them, simply push the button and hope for the best. There were no family bathrooms so had to wash my little one in the main showers which was not easy as there was knowhere in the cubicle other than a peg to hang your things. I also wouldn’t say they were overly clean as one of the drains smelt like rotten eggs and there was build up scum in the corners as well as hair on the walls.
The shower cubicle themselves were large enough to add a split screen and bench to put your clothes. There also wasn’t enough toilets, my husband went several times and they would be full up.
There wasn’t a proper facility to put waste water down, we were told to put it down the elsen point which had a high wall in front of it so was impossible to lift a wastemaster up when full. We had booked a hard standing but were told the next day that there was a technical glitch in the booking system so had to have a grass pitch, at no point were we told that the pitches were on a slope so wasn’t very prepared for that, that would be useful to have known prior to arrival.
