Electric grass pitch
Liked Good location easy to walk to shops and pubs. Secure site. Pitches over looking the River which was very peaceful and the children enjoyed looking at the boats go past.
Shower/toilet block was very clean, not as far away from pitches as others have said. Multiple points for water. Reception was very helpful when needed.
Disliked Pitches are close together when busy, which doesn't leave much space for children to play.

Liked Very friendly staff and pristine toilet block. Nice location by the river.
Disliked Upper part of the site where the statics used to be can only be described as dystopian. It’s so sad that this was once home to people.

Shower block very clean.
Disliked Shower block and chemical waste quite far from touring pitch. Fresh water tap not close enough to some pitches.

Liked location, on main road, Toby Inn next door, Harvester on same road 5 mins away.
Disliked Site is on terraces. Lower terrace just above the river, is nice, but all facilities are on the upper terrace at the end of the row! There is only one access to them, at the end of the terraces causing a long walk and climbs to the small facilities (two male toilets, two male showers) and (3 ladies toilets and 3 showers). I would NOT recommend this site to elderly or people with ANY mobility issues, the waste and chemical waste points are on the way out, up a further hill, with only room for one vehicle at a time to park and empty out if you didn't fancy dragging containers uphill the length of a football pitch.
The toilets, although new, have mirrors that are two low above the sinks, the "rainfall" shower heads are also only for people under 5ft 10" and the toilet I used was loose. There is a problem for the owners, not for the customers, where whoever fitted the MDF shower partitions, has them touching the floor and constantly in contact with water, they will not last one season, raise them up my friend, The upper terrace and the rest of the site is prepared for static caravans, I suspect, that they are above the flood plain, whereas the touring caravans (which can be moved easily) will need evacuating if the river overflows which it has not long ago. Myself, I would NOT use this site again with a tourng caravan, maybe if I needed to rent a static.

Liked Visited the site 2 years ago and loved the location. Can walk along river to Worcester which is a lovely town. New toilet block is modern and clean. Lovely views across the river to the Malvern hills. Close to m5 so good for a stop over if heading for the south coast.
Disliked Sorry but must say not thought out from a campers point of view. This may not put you off and if it does your missing a gem but you need to know the following .
Had to drive to take toilet to be emptied as long walk. Yes a long walk to toilet block .ladies has 3 and 3 showers gents has 2 of each. Yes within regulations but still not many for 24 pitches. So be prepared for a wait. Steps from tourers are at the end so again a long walk and are extremely steep as in the height of each step. Not easy to navigate especially if carrying pots to be washed. One of the water taps is at the top of these steps. You could never get a water butt up and down. Reception said they are reinstating the steps in the middle. PLEASE NOT SAME AS AT THE END . You will need to loose a static pitch to do this though. What did concern me was there isn’t enough space in shower cubicles to get dressed. I walked in as someone was dressing in main area. This isn’t a problem except when I was in the toilet cubicle a day later the male cleaner came in without checking or saying he was entering and nothing outside to say male cleaner. This could be very upsetting for some people. Especially young girls. The grey waste isn’t easily found . It’s a grate the lay-by area as you drive in . Nothing to say what it is. It may not bother you but everything is just too far away from the touring pitches. The owners are putting a lot of money and effort in but it just didn’t work for us.

Liked Location to shops, Harvester and Toby pubs. Bus stop within walking distance of campsite. Newly refurbished toilet block. Welcomed by staff and given information on arrival.
Disliked As mentioned in previous reviews the design of the campsite makes it difficult for touring vehicles. The toilet block and Elsan point are situated a considerable distance from the touring pitches with only one set of steps to access them which is a distance from the tourers and not suitable for the disabled or those lacking good mobility. The site information leaflet advises visitors not to walk up the banking to access the facilities. The campsite has a public footpath crossing it and we observed groups of young people on more than one occasion, hanging around the tourers. We felt that security could be an issue. The walk along the river to Worcester was pleasant but the pathway is overgrown in many areas. We found the road noise from the dual carriageway above the site to be constant and very loud. The campsite is in the process of being developed with a large number of empty static vans and empty concrete pitches which resemble a work in progress.

From the manager: Hi Thanks for your review, Yes the static part of the site, Upper level is a work in progress though there is no physical work to take place, roads are laid, infrastructure is complete and bases are laid and everything is clean, we have fully re developed every inch of the site. The touring area is complete. The toilet block is also brand new and complete. There is a designated path to the loo block, Its not a great idea to climb up a bank!
We do not say the toilet block is close to the pitches, it cannot be as the touring area floods out of season , the toilet block is on the higher level.
We have site wide CCTV, electric gates and an on site warden, security has not been an issue.
Thanks
Emma

From the manager: Thank you for your comments
They are taken on bored though it is not hidden that you have to walk to the toilets. Although we are finishing the wet room / family room all the other showers / toilets are fully accessible.
You are keen to leave a comment but clearly don’t read them.
I say it on more or less every respond.
The site is in central Worcester. It is on the river banks. The facilities can not be on the touring field level. It floods every year out of season,
The pub and shops are literally at our gateway.
We are maintaining our fishing pegs at the moment. The site is fully re furbished and we are busy maintaining and bringing the final features to there fullest potential.
