Bowbrook Caravan and Camping: Picturesque Evenings At Bowbrook

General

  • Quiet, back to basics site between the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills
  • A 15-minute drive to central Worcester or 35 minutes to Cheltenham
  • Direct access to the A44; one mile from the local railway station

Wandering through Western England is ever so agreeable. With direct access to the speedy A44, adults-only Bowbrook Caravan and Camping makes it a breeze to explore this neck of the woods, whether you've come in search of cosy Cotswolds villages, the rolling Malvern Hills or history-steeped cities like Worcester and Cheltenham.

This spacious, 30-acre site makes a fab base for hols in green surrounds: views here take in nearby Bredon Hill, a handsome farmhouse and fields with plenty of sheep. True to its name, Bowbrook Caravan and Camping is also home to a stream (a wildlife haven full of reeds, willows and the song of visiting birds). For another top riverside spot, head to the village of Wyre Piddle on the banks of the Avon (five minutes' drive).

This straightforward site keeps things simple with its facilities, which stretch to a modern toilet and shower block (with underfloor heating and disabled access to make things welcoming for all), a washing-up point and wifi access. Guests who need to stock up on food have several supermarkets within a 10-minute radius or can head to one of nearby Pershore's Georgian pubs for off-site eats (10 minutes). Dogs are welcome here, but please keep them on leads around the park.

A railway station is on hand a mile down the road, with regular services to Worcester, Oxford and several Cotswold towns.

Please note

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed on site.

well kept site. clean showers, toilets and washing up areas. pleasant walk round the site for dogs. friendly and helpful warden.

    Disliked:

not really able to leave the site on foot due to it being situated on a busy road with no footpath. (you are set back from the road while on site so traffic noise is not a problem) WiFi signal too poor to use.

Nice quiet, friendly site with good views. On a service pitch which was excellent value. Good location for visiting the surrounding area (we towed a car). Facilities good, always clean. Mike (the warden) very pleasant and helpful..always good for a chat and makes folk feel very welcome. He manages the site in an extremely relaxing, efficient and laid back manner. Would visit again. Free Wi-Fi good for general use, obviously not meant for streaming or downloading.

The facilities were really clean and maintained really well. The pitches were huge and there was a really relaxed feel to the site. Lovely views and walks round the site and we even got a lovely view of the sunset on our last night.

    Disliked:

Not really a dislike but we thought “quiet time” (after 10) and “silent time” (after 11) could have been abit later, especially at a weekend. But I completely appreciate that’s my view as a young person and the site was predominantly the older generation. It wasn’t a problem at all really because after a few action packed days we weren’t in bed much later than 11 anyway, but if we wanted to stay up we could have gotten in our van :)

This is a lovely site in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, with excellent facilities. They’ve thought of everything, new showers and toilet block, all spotlessly clean, a very helpful and friendly on site warden, who’s there to help with anything and acres of open space to walk your dog!
The site is very peaceful and easy going, with plenty of space between the caravans!

    Disliked:

There is some road noise but several hundred trees have been planted which will eventually allay this!

Large spacious level pitches, our twin axle caravan fit onto the pitch easily.
Adult only site so very relaxing weekend with no little ones running around, love children but nice to get away from them for a weekend.Mike, the park manager was very polite and imparted a lot of local knowledge, very helpful to everyone as they arrived. His dogs Bonnie and Clyde were amazing.

Would recommend and will be going back again in the not too distant future.
