What customers say
This campsite is praised as a tranquil, welcoming, and beautiful "hidden gem" set in the grounds of Himley Hall. Visitors highlight the friendly and informative hosts, the spacious pitches (with cars parked separately for child safety), and excellent facilities including a bar, communal campfire, kitchenette, and clean showers. It's considered ideal for exploring local attractions and offers a magical atmosphere for children. Minor drawbacks mentioned are potential traffic noise and the distance to toilets on some pitches, though free Wi-Fi is available nearby.

Nearly perfect
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The beautiful magical country garden with huge old trees, magical ribbons, fairy lights, rabbits, dragonflies…
The little glamping units dotted around.
The choice to pitch up pretty much anywhere on site.
How safe it felt.
The lovely kitchenette and communal seating.
Oh and the fire pits!
Disliked A couple of inconsiderate neighbours- other campers pretty much taking over all worksurfaces in the kitchen (not the owners fault but seemed to just be acceptable and unchallenged- would have been nice for the rest of us if they’d been given a little nudge to put their stuff away so the spaces could be used) and loud vehicles late at night- wasn’t sure if locals racing cars or something. Just seemed to be driving a loud vehicle at high speed from about 10pm.

From the manager: Hiya,
Thanks for your lovely review and apologies about the kitchenette, with a full site it’s difficult to keep track of who’s stuff is who’s, we would have been more than happy to give others a nudge had we been made aware there was a problem.
Hope to see you and the kids again soon

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked This place was an unexpected hidden gem. Lovely campsite and the fact that cars are not allowed next to the pitches (they give you a trailer to transport your belongings) was really fun for the kids to get a ride in the trailer but also that they could run around and we didn't have to worry about cars so felt very safe. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us and the facilities were great including the bar and big campfire. Couldn't think of anything to improve on!
