Lovely private woodland site, super friendly staff & helpful. Good for families, fire pits available. Road noise a bit of a bother, but overall a great spot!

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Belinda and Charlotte who run the site were very friendly, helpful and welcoming .
Nothing was too much trouble.
If you are looking for something other than a regimented site choose this. All pitches are located around the wooded site. Very private.
Disliked Only road noise

Liked We had a lovely relaxing stay. The site is really convenient and it's great being able to walk into Himley Hall which as a massive play area.
The glamping tent was perfect in the recent hot weather and the beds were so comfy. Belinda is a very friendly and welcoming person and does everything she can to make your stay enjoyable.
Our kids loved the games room and sports equipment and also toasting marshmallows on the fire at night.
Thank you for a memorable stay.

Nearly perfect
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The beautiful magical country garden with huge old trees, magical ribbons, fairy lights, rabbits, dragonflies…
The little glamping units dotted around.
The choice to pitch up pretty much anywhere on site.
How safe it felt.
The lovely kitchenette and communal seating.
Oh and the fire pits!
Disliked A couple of inconsiderate neighbours- other campers pretty much taking over all worksurfaces in the kitchen (not the owners fault but seemed to just be acceptable and unchallenged- would have been nice for the rest of us if they’d been given a little nudge to put their stuff away so the spaces could be used) and loud vehicles late at night- wasn’t sure if locals racing cars or something. Just seemed to be driving a loud vehicle at high speed from about 10pm.

From the manager: Hiya,
Thanks for your lovely review and apologies about the kitchenette, with a full site it’s difficult to keep track of who’s stuff is who’s, we would have been more than happy to give others a nudge had we been made aware there was a problem.
Hope to see you and the kids again soon
