The park's Riverside Venue Bar and Restaurant has a delicious variety of food and drink, as well as events throughout the high season and on some weekends. There's a multi-sports pitch on site for family games and over a mile and half of free river fishing for those who want to spend a peaceful afternoon on the river banks. A daily river taxi service also runs from Stratford Parks Holiday Park to Stratford-upon-Avon, where there are Shakespeare attractions and lots of places to eat or shop. Arriving with a furry companion? There are also designated dog-walking areas on site.

Snug Pod camping pod

Liked Lovely little pod community. Fabulous facilicites, super dog friendly.
Loved the water taxi into Stratford Upon Avon, which is such a nice place to visit.
Can't rate this place highly enough.

Disliked Maybe the double sofa bed could do with being a slight bit bigger

Beehive camping pod

Liked Size of the beehive and that it was well spaced out. How friendly staff were. Process of food and drink on site.

Disliked Showers were not the best top tip press about 5 or 6 times prior to getting in so the trickle is at least warm. Not everything on site is dog friendly and dogs cannot be left alone in pods (not that we would) would means you cannot enjoy the entertainment. Limited space in the 1 dog friendly bar/restaurant

Liked Beautiful setting next to the river with plenty of walks available to explore nearby. The site is large & well looked after, all the facilities are kept clean & tidy. The toilets were always immaculate & the showers hot!
Staff were very friendly & helpful.
We had a few drinks at the Riverside Venue pub & had a delicious Sunday Lunch at The Galley Kitchen which we felt were quite large portions so very impressed.
Overall we would highly recommend this site & will go back again in the future.
Great for exploring Stratford & the nearby Cotswolds.

Disliked Only dislike is that the caravan touring pitch could be a bit bigger but it is satisfactory & would not deter us from staying again.

Liked The position of the site, the pitches have plenty of room. Been coming for absolutely years. We've had two seasonal pitches and really hoping we get another one for next year, we have put our names down so fingers crossed.

Disliked Not open long enough. Also hoping and preying you get a residential on the field as you come in from Tiddington side on the right. We would buy one in a heartbeat 💓 We can but hope!!

Local attractions

For a change from the river taxi, guests can stroll into Stratford-upon-Avon to take in a play from the Royal Shakespeare Company, have a flutter at the races, or visit the many Shakespeare sights dotted around the city. There’s also excellent retail therapy to be had here, as well as in the elegant surrounding towns of Cheltenham, Royal Leamington Spa and Warwick. 
Sporty types will find golf courses, swimming pools and many other facilities nearby, and of course there are plenty of good walking opportunities along the river and out into the lovely Warwickshire countryside. Further along the banks of the Avon are the stately country house of Charlecote Park, and winsome Warwick Castle, which has plenty of things to do and see for all ages. Also nearby are the majestic ruins of Kenilworth Castle, where Robert Dudley and Elizabeth I used to make out; or you could follow in the footsteps of the Gunpowder Plotters of 1605 with a visit to Coughton Court. At the Ragley Hall Estate, visitors can take a tour of the Palladian mansion, go sculpture spotting in the Capability Brown parkland, or lose themselves in the 3D maze. The site is also a great base from which to explore the villages and landscapes of the Cotswolds.
