The park's Riverside Venue Bar and Restaurant has a delicious variety of food and drink, as well as events throughout the high season and on some weekends. There's a multi-sports pitch on site for family games and over a mile and half of free river fishing for those who want to spend a peaceful afternoon on the river banks. A daily river taxi service also runs from Stratford Parks Holiday Park to Stratford-upon-Avon, where there are Shakespeare attractions and lots of places to eat or shop. Arriving with a furry companion? There are also designated dog-walking areas on site.

Liked Fantastic friendly and very helpful staff. Loved the clubhouse, such a good vibe and beautiful food. Great location, and super bonus to have a river taxi.

Disliked Honestly can’t really say a bad word, toilets and showers a little outdated but super clean and showers were powerful and warm.

Liked Everything about the site is great. Toilet's and shower's are a bit dated but always kept clean. Love the river taxi and close to Stratford if you want to walk.

Liked Super friendly staff, excellent location for Stratford, river taxi a delight (cash only!). Spotless facilities. Didn't use the club house. Very quiet after 10pm even with the clubhouse (site was busy but not full).

Disliked No privacy in the touring pitches, bit like a car park. The clubhouse isn't my scene; the night I stayed they had a massive outside TV showing the football.

Liked Lovely grounds and spot clean facilities . Lots of grounds staff super helpful and friendly

Disliked The takeaway from the club house . Fish and chips in a pizza box minute pot of peas and the fish batter not cooked through .not many chips £15.50 was not worth that price and is too much for takeaway fish and chips . WiFi £8 for 2 days very expensive

Liked This is our second time visiting Stratford parks and we had a lovely break. It’s quite peaceful and really well kept, everyone you come across are very welcoming and accepting of new people. We went up to the bowls club to play bingo and every single person there (a lot of residents from Stratford parks) were so accommodating especially with our 2 year old daughter. The river boat is excellent even though they are a boat down (no fault of there’s) and the you are given lots of info on your trip. Did ask at reception regarding seasonal pitches but apparently they are fully stacked out with a big list so didn’t take my details which is ashame however that wouldn’t stop us returning again. Thank you

When we washed our plastic cups and daughters beakers they smelt of stagnant water.

Liked What a wonderful 6 days we have just had at Stratford Park. Fantastic facilities and everything immaculate. Very friendly staff in all venues and only to glad to assist. Can honestly say it is by far one of the best sites the Wife and I have been to in the last 20 years. Looking forward to visiting again

Local attractions

For a change from the river taxi, guests can stroll into Stratford-upon-Avon to take in a play from the Royal Shakespeare Company, have a flutter at the races, or visit the many Shakespeare sights dotted around the city. There’s also excellent retail therapy to be had here, as well as in the elegant surrounding towns of Cheltenham, Royal Leamington Spa and Warwick. 
Sporty types will find golf courses, swimming pools and many other facilities nearby, and of course there are plenty of good walking opportunities along the river and out into the lovely Warwickshire countryside. Further along the banks of the Avon are the stately country house of Charlecote Park, and winsome Warwick Castle, which has plenty of things to do and see for all ages. Also nearby are the majestic ruins of Kenilworth Castle, where Robert Dudley and Elizabeth I used to make out; or you could follow in the footsteps of the Gunpowder Plotters of 1605 with a visit to Coughton Court. At the Ragley Hall Estate, visitors can take a tour of the Palladian mansion, go sculpture spotting in the Capability Brown parkland, or lose themselves in the 3D maze. The site is also a great base from which to explore the villages and landscapes of the Cotswolds.
