There's a multi-sports pitch on site for family games and over a mile and half of free river fishing for those who want to spend a peaceful afternoon on the river banks. A daily river taxi service also runs from Stratford Parks Holiday Park to Stratford-upon-Avon, where there are Shakespeare attractions and lots of places to eat or shop. This well-maintained site has a great riverside spot, with easy access to Stratford-upon-Avon by water taxi and nice walks. Guests love the friendly staff, clean facilities, and on-site bar/restaurant. While some toilet/shower blocks are older, they're always clean and work well. Pitches are usually spacious, though some wish for more privacy. A shop would be a nice bonus for some.

Liked Everything! All staff super professional and really nice 😊 and happy.
Site immaculate.
ALL amenities first class! The on site club house is second to none! We’ve never been anywhere with anything better.
On site river taxi just perfect.

Liked Nice park with a great clubhouse for everyone to use. Good facilities & close to town centre. Staff friendly & welcoming.

Liked The site is well managed being clean and tidy. The facilities are good too having the entertainment centre and restaurants close-by.
The water taxi was an unexpected bonus giving us a pleasurable journey into and from Stratford.

Disliked Nothing springs to mind that could really be done to better our experience.

Liked Originally we had booked for middle of August but a spell in hospital put paid to that. We contacted the park who were very understanding and rebooked us for same amount of nights 16-19 October. On arrival friendly welcome and Dave in his buggy showed us to the pitch via water point. We were close to the river and thoroughly enjoyed our stay using the water taxi to get into Stratford on Saturday morning. Went to the live music night with a couple we had met on the water taxi, and had a very enjoyable night.

Disliked It was all really good. Only thing I noticed when I went to orange lidded bins with recycling was that others had thrown ordinary rubbish in so pointless trying to do the right thing. Not parks fault but clearer bins for plastics etc might help

For a change from the river taxi, guests can stroll into Stratford-upon-Avon to take in a play from the Royal Shakespeare Company, have a flutter at the races, or visit the many Shakespeare sights dotted around the city. There’s also excellent retail therapy to be had here, as well as in the elegant surrounding towns of Cheltenham, Royal Leamington Spa and Warwick. 
Sporty types will find golf courses, swimming pools and many other facilities nearby, and of course there are plenty of good walking opportunities along the river and out into the lovely Warwickshire countryside. Further along the banks of the Avon are the stately country house of Charlecote Park, and winsome Warwick Castle, which has plenty of things to do and see for all ages. Also nearby are the majestic ruins of Kenilworth Castle, where Robert Dudley and Elizabeth I used to make out; or you could follow in the footsteps of the Gunpowder Plotters of 1605 with a visit to Coughton Court. At the Ragley Hall Estate, visitors can take a tour of the Palladian mansion, go sculpture spotting in the Capability Brown parkland, or lose themselves in the 3D maze. The site is also a great base from which to explore the villages and landscapes of the Cotswolds.
