Our beautiful quiet site is in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands. The Peak District National Park is less than a mile away.

Beaver Hall is the ideal location for exploring the area and is very close to many attractions and places of interest. Footpaths criss cross the site which is perfect for ramblers, hikers and dog walkers.

The site is located within one of the country’s leading equestrian centres and has first-class facilities including a café, hardstanding pitches with electric hookup and water to each pitch, waste and chemical waste disposal. There are two toilets and a shower on site, with more facilities being added in 2013.

Pony rides are available for children at a cost of £15 per child, with each pony led by an experienced handler on a lead rein. Sessions last around 35 minutes, with the child helping to get the pony ready before setting out, helping to put it away and feeding it treats. The rides last around 20 minutes and go from the stables up through the fields and back - adults can follow or relax in the café. Beginners' lessons are also available.

Riding hats are provided but you can bring your own if you have one. For insurance purposes, riders must be over two years of age and weigh less than ten stone. Please book your ride in advance with the campsite (not available as a Pitchup extra).
