What customers say
A beautiful, peaceful, and spacious rural campsite with immaculate, modern facilities including excellent hot showers. Owners are consistently praised for being friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The site offers a natural setting with lovely views, a stream, and ample space for children and dogs. Optional fire pits and wood are available. Most visitors appreciate the lack of phone signal for a digital detox. Some minor points include limited washing-up facilities and potential ground softness after rain.

Electric grass pitch
Liked We really enjoyed our stay at the Runnis Meadow, actually it's the best campsite we have ever been to! Thank you so much for maintaining it so nicely, everywhere!
ps. Thanks again for lending us the connector to our extension socket, and sorry that I didn't get time to tell you that I left it next to the fridge as there's no signals on site and later it slipped my mind...

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The location was fantastic, no ambient light so we could sit and watch the stars! Firepits and logs delivered to your pitch at reasonable prices. Toilet and shower block were immaculate and cleaned regularly. Pitch sizes were huge so you could really stretch out and have plenty of room. Lots of sights to see locally and lots of lovely country pubs.
Disliked Nothing really to do within walking distance ie pub or sight seeing but not a problem for us as we ate out on our travels or bought something back to roast over the fire. Not a dislike really but it could put you off if that's what you need.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Absolutely everything - peaceful and in beautiful surroundings. The pitches are large and spacious. The bathrooms are individual and spotlessly clean.
The host welcomed us and gave us all the information we were likely to need.
Disliked That we had to come home!
