Electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Host are always friendly and helpful. Social area inside we love.
Disliked We have been multiple occasions and this time there were some issues, none of which are the host fault. Disrespectful campers not cleaning up after them selves and the power cut during the shower, left pitch black. Campsite not good in winter months, very muddy - footpath would be good to facilities and lights around the campsite would be good.

From the manager: Dear Charlotte , we would deeply like to apologise for the electric tripping while we were out on Saturday night, this was a one off occasion when we were not at home for this to happen!
As this has been the wettest winter on record every where including the lake side and canal walks have been muddier than usual, which affected the floors in the toilet area also, although there was a bucket and mop at hand for guests to use !
Thanks for booking with us we loved seeing you again .

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Great small site. Friendly welcome, facilities clean, lovely communal area which would be useful for smaller campervanners in bad weather. Great location alongside woods and mere. Fab walk for the dogs from the site. Will definitely return in the future.

Peaceful site set in lovely surroundings
Electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Loved our stay at Colemere. I had a warm welcome from Dave. He pitched me and my friend next to each other which was perfect. There were a few vans parked up but it still felt lovely and quiet and peaceful. Facilities were spotless and showers were instantly warm and with good power. The comunal room looked very cosy - we wish we’d spent some time in there. There are lovely walks straight from the campsite. We walked to Ellesmere down the canal and I went for a run around the lake - both were beautiful. One of the best campsites I’ve been to in a while! I’ll definitely be back
Disliked Nothing - it was fantastic

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Made really welcome. The site is beautiful with direct access to Footpaths around the lake and along the canal. We camped in our campervan but the yurt looked great. There are glamping pods and a shepherds hut too. The communal area is awesome! They’ve really gone to a great effort and provided far more than most sites. Owls hooting added to the atmosphere.
Disliked Nothing. WiFi only available near the communal area and not around the site but we didn’t mind.
